Last season, the Ravens did not have a true bye week due to Hurricane Ike and the postponement of the Week 2 Houston game.
Following 3 straight heartbreaking losses by a total of 11 points – all with dramatic game-changing plays in the final minute of play – the Baltimore Ravens return home to M&T Bank Stadium to host the undefeated (6-0) Denver Broncos. These AFC contenders square off this Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. The Ravens, who started the season with 3 consecutive victories, are 3-3.
Both the Ravens and Broncos are coming off bye weekends. On 10/18, Baltimore lost, 33-31, at Minnesota after K Steve Hauschka missed a 44-yard field goal as time expired. The Ravens had rallied from a 17-point, 4th-quarter deficit to take a 31-30 lead with 3:37 left in the contest. The Vikings came back with a 31-yard K Ryan Longwell FG that sealed the victory. The following night (10/19), the Broncos were impressive in gaining a 34-23 win at San Diego. The previous Sunday (10/11), Denver beat the visiting Patriots, 20-17 in overtime.
In the tough AFC North, the Ravens trail the Steelers and the Bengals, who both own 5-2 records, by 1 game in the loss column.

This is huge. We have got to win this. If we do, we will be in good shape because we will only be a game back in the division then if we beat the Bengals next week and the Steelers lose to the Broncos it will be a 3 way tie!

And I might be going to this game which would make it my first game ever attended!

Defense will protect our territory this week, despite Mattison being a bum I have a feeling our Defense will come out and play a physical game tomorrow. Look for the Donk's to be getting carted off on the meat wagon all day long.

Before anyone asks, this is the coverage area:

Areas in blue get the Ravens-Broncos game.

Gameday Weather Report

Have the Jackets on Hand In the morning at the Tailgate party, Mite be some drizzle in the morning. Similar to the Browns game a few weeks back. Looks like a long sleeved shirt game. Rain overnight tonight.

Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the morning...then partly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 50s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Go Baltimore! We need this one bad!!

Turn it back on after the game, with all the people that are on online gamedays the servers were slooooooow last 2 weeks ago and every little bit helps.

hopefully it does rain because then we can actually run the ball. Surely Cam Cameron wont throw it 50 times if it is raining. Our run game is beastly and we need to set up the run so Dumervill doesnt just rush every play. We need to control the line of scrimmage. Bailey and Mason will both get a few on each other so its safe to say they are out of the picture. All we have to do on offense is run the ball. im expecting a huge game from heap as Denvers safties arent the best in pass defense. Neither are there OLB.

Hopefully Gaither is back so we can have Gaither and oher keeping Flacco on his feet. If we can get going early we win. If we we cant and are forced to play catch up we will lose as our defense cant get us a 3 and out. If we win the toss we have to recieve and get some points on the board early so the defense can defend the lead instead of giving it away.

Man im pumped

Heh, this is the first game in two weeks I don't have to wait until midnight to watch it. Granted, it's probably only being shown here since the Steelers are on their bye. It sucks living in Steeler/Brown country. Especially when they both play at 1PM.

Lets look at this way. We have already lost offensively(Pats), defensively(Bengals), and by special teams(Vikings).
I think we have ran out of ways to lose, so its time to win. :P

Im watching the pregame on ESPN. Just showed Flacco getting off the bus and heading into the stadium after a few autograph signings. You cant tell the guys a Millionaire the way he dresses. He look like me and you, not a Calvin Klein billboard.

It's been a long two weeks after the loss. Ravens are not a losing football team, so we can not end this day with a losing record.

Marshall Faulk says he wouldn't be surprised if Brandon Marshall puts up 200 yards against us. But the rest of the boys are sticking up for us. Sapp and Marauchi.

wow nfl network showed foxy and brandon marshall warming up together and the size differene looked like a dad running with his little son
Yea I saw that. It's really important for us to get the pass protection. Either Ed Reed is going to be picking off Orton throws to Marshall, or Orton & Marshall are going to rip us a new one.

Heh, surprising to see Keyshawn be one of two to pick us over the Broncos. I used to be hard pressed to decide on who I disliked more, him or Carter. However, I can only take so much of Carter's attitude and mouth (although Keyshawn isn't any better). I'll give him the nudge though for picking us, heh.

Oh well, they're both still tools.

A couple of minutes. I hope we win this game. It means nothing to Denver, it means the world to us. It's the difference between a winning and losing record.

I hope the D shows up.

Ok, Lets come out fast!
Almost all of our games this year, the other team has come out and scored a TD. SD, Minnesota, KC and Cincinnati. We need to get on this board first.
