My buddy rented the ZHZ(Hertz) model a couple days ago. I absolutly loved it, wish it was 6sp though. Kicked the crap out of my little 4 banger RSX

uh, yeah. 436hp > 200hp...

Thats a Z06 though. 505hp and its scary fast.

Ive got quite a bit done to it. Need to get a dyno test for it but I would estimate around 290 front wheel hp. I knew I would lose just not that bad haha...about 5 car lengths lol, 0-120mph

I think it might be on the hub in the Vette. Nice Z06, why would it need an engine already? The Ls7 is pretty tough. Failure?

no, vettes have 4 individual speed sensors in the hubs. Almost all vehicles with abs have sensors in teh hubs nowadays, with the exception of real big trucks.

some of the early builds had problems. Its the first one Ive done, but ive seen 3 other 06-07s blown up the same way. #1 pisto literally exploded and the block cracked from front to back. Hard to tell the initial failure as everything pretty much disintegrated, but all the valve stems were still in the keepers so it had to originate in the bottom end, probably a bent rod.

Let's put it this way. Viper is slightly faster in the quarter mile. Z06 owns the viper on a road course. Viper is scarier looking. Vette is sexy. Viper will ratttle your teeth and give you hemroids. You could drive the vette cross country, smooth as a caddy. Not to mention the vette can be had for about $20k less than the dodge. U can get a used 06 z06 in the high 40s. I'd buy one, but the insurance would b more than the payment, LOL

I saw a Viper in Ocean City, MD once that had "VETTKLR" or "VETKLR" as their license plate. I thought that was pretty cool... I'd take a Vette though for the reasons you stated above...
