If You Could Sign One "anybody" In The League

77 posts in this topic

If you can have only one player on any team to be on the Ravens who would it be? Cap room does not matter. How ever the catch is, the Ravens drop the starter of the player's position you pick up. So, for example, if you want Drew Brees on the Ravens, then we get rid of Joe Flacco. I dont know why anybody would say that.

I would take Fitzgerald, no doubt. Flacco to Fitz, Flacco throws it deep, Fitzgerald comes down with it. That means we would cut Mason, which I would do if that means Fitzgerald is in. Derrick is old and will likely retire next year, but I'm not saying I would want to get rid of Mason.

Good thing you said only ONE player in exchange for the best starter of ours playing that position, because otherwise, we'd get this huge fantasy roster thread.

If I had to take ONE guy? I agree with you, Larry Fitzgerald in lieu of Derrick Mason.

Calvin Johnson for Offense no doubt.

Defense is a tougher choice but I would go Haynesworth. Ngata, Haynesworth and Pryce on a 3 man front would be unstoppable.

I WOULD GO OFFENSE FIRST.

Don't forget the "rules" are that you lose OUR best player at that position.

Who is the best CB out there? I would gladly trade our best for whomever.

Rather have Nick Collins or Bob Sanders personally.

His voice is way too girly and after that Head & Shoulders commercial....

I'd go with Asomugha. I think the offense is sound enough as it is. I could certainly go for Polamalu for Dawan though...

I think Troy is one of the best safeties in the league period. He hits hard, runs hard, plays hard. And guys with girly voices and weak looking bodies somehow have all the talent ie.Polamalu..Pacquiao..BJ Penn

But then again, if we had Megatron, not only would we have an insane offense, but we could spend the entire draft, from first to seventh, just stockpiling our defense.
But I doubt we'd need a defense if we score 60 points a game :D

I think the only players I wouldn't trade for anyone right now are Flacco, Rice, Oher, Gaither and maybe Ngata, if he steps his game up to where we know it can be. And soon. I wouldn't give him that chance, but there just aren't many great interior lineman floating around.

Why do people keep saying Cribbs for Carr!?!?! CRIBBS IS A WR AND CARR IS A DB!
I think they mean KR/PR for a KR/PR....but you're right.

Flacco for Orton :P

I do love Flacco though, great pick by you guys. Seems like I was the only, non Ravens fan, that was defending him last year against Matt Ryan. Flacco > Ryan IMO.

I would have to go with the best RB in the league in AP. I love Ray Rice, but Rice is not AP. There is not another player in the league that is like Peterson. The guy can change the game in a heartbeat... plus what he adds to the passing game when they have to concentrate so hard on the run.

I do love Rice though and I know he has potential to be very good... but not AP good, sorry.
