We dont play for another week so for farts and smiles, I wanted to know your fav and worst ravens. Chris Carr by far is the worst cb I ever seen. I think im going to break my tv one of these days watching him cover someone. My fav is a tie with ed reed, Mcgahee and Lewis for me, DA U!!!!!!!

I voted Carr but he's obviously not the worst Raven ever. It's more than likely someone who got cut pretty sharpish.

Ed Reed got the vote for my favourite. He's what made me a Raven's fan, so it had to be him really.

You consider Rod Woodson among the top three? I'm not starting an argument, I just found it interesting. What about Dilfer, Jamal, Stover, Jermaine or even Mason?

I think the worst Raven of all time is James Harrison. Not only did he do nothing for the Ravens, he also almost singlehandedly beat us on that Monday Night that i'm sure we can all remember.

No I thought he put us over the top in super bowl year. I really dont consider him a raven, but since his hall of fame status I put him with the other hof players we have

Worst Ravens include Scott Mitchell, Stoney Case, Eric Zeier, Donnie Brady, DeRon Jenkins, and Ethan Brooks.

My favorite ever was Michael McCrary. Highest motor guy we've ever had.

I mean in all serious, with all the bad players we have had on the team. I dont think Boller makes the top 5. He wasnt great but c'mon on man, I can name 10 players worse than him.

Ive never been more passionate about a season as the more baltimore progess's through it. To see them do so well in an area that they've never really had before is exciting. But to see them to worse in an area that they should be ranked at the top of the list hurts, they need to improve their defense and they can start by benching Chris Carr so my least favorite Raven is Chris Carr. Id have to say im happy to have Ray Rice on our team so my favorite would be Ray Rice.

David Pittman and Jamaine Winborne have to be on that list. The second play actually wasn't Reed's fault at all:

How many people would rather have Corey Ivy than Chris Carr?

If I asked that a year ago we would have all laughed, now....not so much, I would do it in a heartbeat.

This may come as a surprise, but Ed Reed is my favorite Raven of all time.

I can understand why Kyle Boller is in the running for the worst Ravens if for no other reason than the fact that he was here for so long, but I can name quarterbacks that are worse than him. I can't say that I've seen a cornerback that is worse than Carr so I'm going to give my vote to him.

I'd take Ivy over Carr easily. Both of them get burned, but at least Ivy could tackle, and I don't think he was such a failure at special teams either.

that guy who got us a penalty on the kickoff before flacco threw an INT to Polamalu in last years AFCG would get my vote if he was one of the choices for worst ravens..

Up until that penalty, Daren Stone had had a great season as a gunner on the punt coverage unit.

this is a tricky thread because it says the worst raven ever. i do agree that carr is terrible but i believe that we have had worst players. atleast he wasnt a high paid wasted draft pick like some of the other offensive players we have got over the years. i will never boller was the worst faven because he respected us even when we trashed him.

my favorite raven right now is webb.

Personal favourites are Ray and was Peter Boulware. I loved that whole linebacking corps from 98-02, just a devastating group. Guys I hated watching play with the Ravens were guys who weren't even necessarily just bad but had no heart either, ie David Pittman, right now Id label Carr as one of those guys too. Not good and no heart.

Exactly. Jim Leonhard was ALL heart. He was tiny and lacked the second gear to take returns to the house but watching him attack the lanes and rip off 20-30 yards on punt returns was great last year.

Scott Mitchell was a decent QB for the Lions who we brought in. He was washed up, fat, slow, terrible. Earned the dubious sobriquet "The Water Buffalo."

Stoney Case and Eric Zeier were bum backup QB's who we thought could start and did awful.

Donnie Brady and DeRon Jenkins were atrocious DB's we had in the 90's.

Ethan Brooks was a godawful tackle. False start, False start, gives up sack, that kind of guy.

Yeah, Chris Carr is moving toward that list at warp speed. I remember the very first return of the preseason he had, I thought "Hrmm, well, he's not very impressive, maybe I shouldn't have got my hopes up." He's done nothing but confirming that further so far.

Another of my favorites is Eric Greene. He was a huge, 6'6" 285 lb. TE we had in the 90's.

Yep, you can always tip your hat to the guy that works his butt of for you. He may not be a pro bowler, or physically gifted but sheer hard work and football IQ will take you a long way in this game.

No, if you did not make it out of training camp then you were not a Raven's. He was not able to fly from the nest. Think about it Harrison is 31, what has he been doing in the NFL before 2007. Not very much, the Guy did not turn it on until he was 29.

My vote goes to Elvis Grbac. This guy was a freaking cry baby who could not handle pressure. How many times do you see a football player crying like a baby on the sideline. When I heard Chad Johnson say "Kiss the baby" I thought he was talking about Elvis Grbac.

I'll qualify my picks by first saying that I am voting for "worst plays made by a raven" and not "worst player" because I honestly think they all deserve credit for trying their best and giving their all out on the field. I don't mind criticizing their play, but effort means a lot to me.

Until this year, my answer was always clear to the worst..... DERON (BIG-PLAY) JENKINS! Unfortunately, Deron might be the best CB on this team......Ahhhh, then again, that might not be true either. Deron was an awful cornerback. I still have images burned into my hard drive of seeing Deron chasing recievers down the field with his back turned to the ball. Does that look familiar this year too? You Bet.

My favorite Raven is a much tougher question, because I can appreciate them all for what they do. I would have to tell you though, Michael Oher, Joe Flacco, Jared Johnson and D. Mason would rank up there with the all-time favorites, even though they haven't been there long.

I also would add Micheal Jackson, Sam Adams and Derrick Anderson to that group.

Favorite: Ray Lewis without a doubt. Also my all time favorite football player. Don't get me wrong, I love Reed but Ray brings everything to the table and is the kind of player that will leave his body on the field to win. He's a extraordinary motivator and leads by example and he plays hard all the time.

Worst: Well I voted all of the above because I don't think those player qualifies to play on a team that has always been top 5 in defense year in and year out.

First 3 were Qb's. Dont remember the others. I disliked Scott Mitchell with a passion.
