So I was checking NBA.com today and came across this article:
LeBron to the Lakers

My first thought is... seriously? How is that even fair, to be honest? I'm going to speak without my hatred and bias towards James.

The Lakers... would have: Gasol, James, Artest, Bryant, and then there's the bench. Honestly, how is that truly fair? I mean, what teams could truly compete with the front load of talent on the Lakers, in such a situarion. However, can you imagine how expensive that would be?

There's no talks. It's just a guy stating what he thinks is "best" for LeBron. If there were seriously a possibility or "talks", then it'd be everywhere. I just thought it was an interesting read.

Is it just me or has LeBron finally figured out how to shoot a mid-to-long range jumper? If so, the rest of the NBA should be terrified.

2 good games tonight cleveland vs. miami and phoenix vs lakers.........man what is up with phoenix they got over 100 3pt. baskets made in the first 9 games. And why couldn't Cleveland play the Magic last year the way they did last night?

also Dwight Howard is getting shafted by the refs....and since he spoke out on it they going to call more against him.

3-0 with J.J Hickson as a starter. I like him starting, makes them more athletic and the scoring has taken off since. No way Varejao should be starting anyways, his strengths are best suited for coming off the bench.

I have enjoyed the basketball I have seen this week My Cavs have picked up 2 huge wins,Boston and Chicago had another good game, and I fell asleep at half time but woke up to find that Denver beat the Lakers by 26.Any one see this whole game? What happened? Not a Laker fan(or hater),I like the nuggets better but I didn't see this to be a blowout game.

Hornets are definitely in for a long, rough season. Although, I don't think it was quite just to Byron Scott for him to bite the bullet for the team's struggles, but hey. I felt the same way when Dallas canned Avery Johnson (I loved Avery =\). But after firing Scott and with Paul going down, the Hornets are probably looking into a downward spiral over the next few weeks. Most likely, it's going to be too deep for them to recover.

don't you love it when Boston loses?
Boston is going to be a tough team in the East this year again, with Garnett being injured last year that hurt them, but with Atlanta pulling out a good win last night it showed they are not the Juggernaut people believe.Just hope the Cavaliers or Magic can beat them in the playoffs

There isn't much better than watching the Lakers get booed off of their home court. Priceless.

In other news the Cavs have found their swagger; this makes me happy.

I love the LeBron, but until he gets more talent around him, he won't win a ring...

I agree completely. The Cavs are too one sided (personnel wise) right now to really be a contender to win it all. If LeBron wants to win a ring, most likely he'll have to leave Cleveland.

In other news, Iverson is without a team, apparently his "personal leave" from the team, ended up with him getting cut. Hate to say it, but I think Iverson is done in the NBA. In my opinion, he should have stayed in Philadelphia.

Far different match ups, the size advantage Orlando had killed Cleveland. By the way, Howard got away with murder in several games in that series, I don't feel sorry for him at all.

Denver put together one of the most dominant 3rd quarters I've ever seen played.

Hornets are losing Chris Paul (sprained left ankle) for 1-2 weeks. That's a hard blow to the Hornets.

That stinks, I love watching CP3 and he's on my fantasy team lol.

ok so the Nets have set the NBA record by dropping 18 straight to start the season. Will they ever win a game? 0-82? I'd like to see 0-82 because I enjoy laughing at other teams losing to an extreme :D

Yeah, and I'm surprised the fans in Cleveland aren't starting a QB controversy, calling for Bron Bron instead of Quinn!

This topic needs more activity.

Anyway..

As disappointing as the departure of Butler, Jamison, Haywood, and company is, I'm really excited about the additions that the Wizards have made. Al Thorton is an up-and-coming player in this league, and he can lead a team. Josh Howard seems very positive, and he really wants this team to succeed. This Wizards are looking to win their third straight for the first time in over two years. They beat Minnesota and Denver (a game in which they greatly outscored Denver in the 4th to win), and they're facing Toronto tonight.
