Well, Demon, if Dirk opts out you won't be as stacked, and there would be no way James would go there without him. I think he's staying put in Cleveland, depending on who they hire as Head Coach and what other pieces they can bring in to complement him. I don't think he can be compared to MJ until he wins at least one ring. However, I don't think it's fair to say that the back-to-back MVP is overrated. He is a First Team All-NBA Player on Offense AND Defense as well.

The chances of Dirk opting out are slim. Very slim. Dirk's comments about his future in Dallas can be compared to Reed's talk of retirement after the loss to the Colts. Dirk's getting frustrated, and can you blame him? I just don't see him up and leaving Dallas, that just strikes me as very un-Nowitzki. However, saying Dallas wouldn't be stacked if Dirk (and only Dirk left) is silly. They still have Kidd, Butler, Marion, and Terry. Add in the young, rising talent in Barea and Beaubois, and you still have a good team. However, it leaves an absolutely huge hole at Power Forward, and on the offense in general.

I never said LeBron was overrated in talent. As I said, I will not deny him talent. What I meant (again) is the generalized opinion of him (i.e. being the next Jordan, or even better than Jordan, the best overall player in the league, etc) is overrated. Again, he is not a "bad" player, he does have talent, I never said otherwise. You come over here and talk basketball with the local fans and tell me if you think he isn't overrated.

James puts up the numbers because he essentially IS the entire team (it wasn't until Jamison came over that he got a big addition to the team). I'm not detracting anything from the other Cav players, but they are far, far from consistent, while James is largely their most consistent player. A Cavs game largely depends upon how LeBron is playing. If he's playing as usual, they'll walk away with a win (usually). If he's struggling, the entire team struggles as there are very few other options for the team. So of course he's going to put up big numbers and be in MVP contention year in and year out.

And I'm sorry, but LeBron James on the All-Defense team is a joke. His defense is what's keeping him from being a well-rounded dominate player. Until he improves his D, he's just an offensive powerhouse.

Didn't see it happening during the season or at the start of the play-offs.

I'll think they'll beat the Lakers.

If they Lakers get another NBA Championship this year, I'll probably give up on basketball.
I'm happy the C's got through to the Finals mainly because they can beat the Lakers. As much I like being optimistic and all, I just don't see Phoenix eliminating them.

So much for watching the Finals this year. I can't stand another series between these two. If I had to root for someone, it'd be the Lakers. Only because I hate Paul Pierce, and I'd love to see that dirty... *ahem* cut short again.
