0-16 Ravens Team (For Fun!)

56 posts in this topic

With everyone in panic mode and coming up with different ways to fix the defense I figure I'd change things up.

Its a bye week chill out! :th_grapes:

which old or current Ravens players would you think could make an 0-16 Baltimore Ravens team? I mean the worse of the worse that would make this team lose 16 straight games?. Go All Out!

Dear God that must be the slowest most bum ridden secondary in the NFL. Boller must be the best of that group lol

Dont forget Billik.
Oh come one, I know it was rough toward the end, but the man won the SuperBowl. How about the first head coach? The one who couldn't get the team to .500... Ted something or other?

I think that Derek Anderson is making a good case for himself right now...

Start Onel Cousins. You'd have more penalty yards than total yards gained.

Travis T definitely.
Haha. Travis.

My dad's old company did the carpet for his house back when he still played and had potential, so I got an autographed ball. I wish he had gotten good!

Vinny T wasn't too bad for us. He holds the Ravens record for most yards in a season. In 1996 he completed 325 passes for 4,177 yards and 33 touchdowns, all of which are Ravens Records. He also threw for a record high 19 INTs as well.

But Vinny when he started to get the Deer in the highlights look for the NJY, Cowboys and Panthers - definite starter.

Cam Quayle TE

Drafted as the last pick overall in the 1998 draft. And dubbed "Mr Irrevlant" (as all last picks are), he was signed by the Ravens only to last one month before being waived. He never played a NFL game.

We should definitley start Mr. Irrevelant if we want to go 0-16

On a side note, he didn't think he was going to get drafted and was slated to get married two weeks after the draft, but because he got drafted things changed:
Cam Quayle, a tight end selected by the Baltimore Ravens in 1998, arrived with his fiancé, who he was supposed to marry two weeks later. But she turned out to be a wet blanket, nagging him and complaining the entire time. Quayle’s mother, who was also there, told him that if his fiancé wouldn’t support him now, she never would. Quayle broke off the engagement. “I saw him a few years later,” says Fitch. “He had married someone else and seemed really happy."
On a serious note, several of the players I named are really good players and I simply put their names here because I don't think they would be great starters or were terrible during the year I specified.

Neither, Vinny played pretty good here and Grbac took the Ravens to the 2nd game of the playoffs. Here would be my picks for Quarterback

Chris Redman
Stoney Case
Tony Banks
Jeff Blake
Scott Mitchell
Anthony Wright

Boller was bad, but not as bad as those guys

I thought about that too.

But it would make perfect sense, Boller and a 0-16 season. Lot's of tripping over his own feet, fumbling the ball when cocking back to throw, running the ball for 2 yards. He could just hit a bad run at things. Very indicative of a 0-16 season.

Maybe terrible was the wrong word but he did have his lowest kicking percentage since '98.

That's all true, but he did show some discouraging signs of competence in a couple of games, and he did win 20 games. Of the 16 quarterbacks in Ravens history, I'm sure there are better options.
