I'm going to put this in the nicest possible way that I can. While I enjoy that you are an "out of state fan" of the Ravens, there are just some passions that you will never ever have for this team because you don't live here.

By that logic, there's certain passions you will never have because you aren't a Ravens fan living in the Pittsburgh area :P

I've got both of those covered, I lived in Maryland. On the Eastern shore (grew up in southern MD) and then moved to Johnstown, an hour east of the PITT. My nextdoor neighbor's house is black, and all the trim including the tin roof on the porch is yellow. Tell me how I must feel :th_padded:

the Ravens will ALWYAS be my team! i only live 2 1/2 hrs away from Baltimore here in Chesapeake, VA. i have loved them since the day they drafted my boy Ray Lewis from the "U."

but...that "Swagger" in which you speak...some would call it, "MoJo" is definately gone! Swagger is not overrated imo. not only is it an attitude but it is a "mindset!" only a few short years ago....our defense had the "mindset" (swagger) that would not allow a RB to get 100 yards on them. they prided themselves on that! if the offense put up enough points on the board and gave them the lead....the Ravens defensive players had the "mindset" (swagger) that the game was over! there would be no comeback drives irregardless of who they played.

the Ravens front 7 (3-4 defense) had the "mindset" (swagger) that we will stuff and stop the run and force the pass. the Ravens secondary had the "mindset" (swagger) that if you throw the ball in the air...it belongs to us! we have lost that "mindset" or swagger!

P.S. bring back the "Black on Black" uniforms!

HEY kid from Delaware--Swagger isnt "overrated", and execution isnt "all that matters", because it is the combination of attitude (aka belief in onesself and ones team) that spurs the execution. "Form(execution) over substance(character/belief/attitude/swagger,whatever you want to call it)" is not really the way to reach the pinnacle, any more than substance over form would be. Its not really an "either-or", its the winning combination.
ps I'd like some of what YOU have been smokin or drinkin if you think Troy P doesnt have/exhibit swagger/attitude. Since you love Joe Flacco so much, (as do I), try praying he finds/re-exhibits his swagger/attitude (YOUNG JOE COOL, NOT A CRY-BABY WHINER LIKE PRECIOUS TOMMIE-TUTU OR STOLEN-COLTS PEYTON) to help him re-gain his execution. The continuing surrounding attitude/belief/support of his fans and team (esp 20,52)are already there.
HEY ED GET BETTER, U2 T SIZZLE. AND BILLY C (WAY TO MAN-UP BILLY).WELCOME BACK BIG G (H.N.)
SEE YA AT THE PLAYOFF GUYS. I LIVE IN FLA, WILL BE AT YOUR ALL-PURPLE (GO VIK'S) OR ALL BIRDS/I-95 (GO EAGLES) SUPERBOWL DOWN HERE.

I personally think the "swagger" thing is over rated but i do understand the execution part of swagger and its not gone not by far. The past two games we rocked some world yeah maybe they werent the best team but we still did good and personally i like this new young deffence, 4 pics, and 2 fumble recoveries, thats pretty dam good i think. I Belive we will get in the playoffs and the team will realize whats on the line and bust there a**. An ballty can beat any team in the league, we have allready beat the chargers, the colts game was very close and we werent playing as good as now so we can take any team anytime. This year can be ours if they play like they want it...
