..and by retire as a Viking I mean ceremoniously burned on a boat.

Oh he will definitely retire as a Viking. And possibly also retire as a 49er, Cowboy and Redskin as well!

LOL, his arm is going to fall off before he really hangs it up. To me it doesn't matter either way. I've been a favre supporter for a very long time. I have a stake in him since I own alot of his memorabilia :).

No, no, Favre only plays for blue-collar teams who maybe could go to the Super Bowl. I'm thinking he might be a Bear beofre this is over, especially if Cutler can't learn to differentiate between his team and his opponents.

I'm down with the boat idea.

than a Brown, Eagle, Charger, Chief, a Raider, and quite possibly be the only player in the NFL History to retire from all 31 teams not named Ravens.

Brett Favre is desperate for a SB ring and will go wherever he needs to go to get one. Hell, he might still be playing past age 60 if he needs to. :)

I am LOVING every minute of getting to see another year with Brett Favre in the NFL. I love seeing him prove all you haters wrong, all you doubters wrong. Look, if there was an influx of GOOD quarterbacks each year, like there usually is with running backs and other positions... I might not understand why teams still hire the old guys. But there isn't even 10 good QBs in a league with 32 teams. So figure that one out. Favre is still among the best, and he SHOULD keep playing. And no, he's not switching teams anymore. The Vikings have nobody else, and Favre can clearly still play. He will play until he truly feels like he's finished what he needs to. And I would love to see him win a Super Bowl his first year with the Vikings... and stick it to the Packers owners and coaches in such a perfect manner.
