This Team Needs Some Luv

13 posts in this topic

Look people! This team has had some key injuries which has made it out of sync compared to last year.

There are rookies starting on the offensive and doing a darn good job for rookies. Derrick Mason singled out Marshal Yanda as someone doing a very good job. When a team mate singles a player out publically as "Doing a good job" then it must be true. Ben Grubbs has been rated as the 8th best first round draft choice of 2007!

There is a lot of tallent on this team but they are inexperienced. Last years right tackle was lost in free agency and this year our left tacle is injured. Adam Terry is playing out of position.

In a nut shell:

We have young players, rookies, playing their hearts out for us. Veterans are playing hurt, giving it all they have even if it isn't enough they're giving what they have.

THIS TEAM DOESN'T NEED CRITICISM RIGHT NOW. IT NEEDS LOVE.

I say we give them all they need unconditionally. Thanks for fighting the tough fight. Come home to us and we will comfort you.

agreed we have ALOT of Talent on this team, we just need to get ALL the players (not just 1 or 2 or a few...we need the whole team and the Coaches and Staff) on the same page as everyone else, so that EVERYONE both on and Off the field knows exactly who's doing what job and when. that way it'll create alot less confusion in the huddle and/or at the Line of Scrimmage and therefore resulting in Everyone being in tune with everything and everyone around them, resulting in the Execellent Blocking of the Line, and Excellent play from the QB, RB, and the WR's and our defense as well.

agreed, that would be the case for certain player on this team overall, But for the most part most of these players have to constantly show the team and the Organization that they belong here in Baltimore and will be willing to risk it all, giving it everything they've got in them and lay if all on the line for their team to win, week in and week out.

I agree with all of the above.

Frankly, the team gets enough criticism from the media and within the organization that the fans don't need to be so judgmental.

Yes, emotions will be high after a loss, and people will be vocal.

But when calmer heads prevail, at the end of the day, the loyal fans are the ones who still love the team, even with all the aspects of the team that need to be fixed.

That doesn't mean you need to take a conservative approach like myself and SOUND optimistic about everything when hope is fleeting, but at least understand the difference between making a critical observation, and making a suggestion that would just plain give the team more headaches.

i also agree, This Team ( I Feel) gets waaaay too much critisim that is necessary......

the Media and all other sports places around the League have always been critisizing us...but then when we start doing well and doing this and that....they jump on the "Band Wagon" and try to pretend that they were just joking and whatever else they have done with us, and they didnt really mean what they said and blah blah blah. when in reaity the truth is the simple fact that they try to "suck up" or "warm up" to us after bringing is down in the previous interviews and shows and what not. To Me thats not the way True NFL sports analyst's should be like at all.

Well, I am not going to make any excuses for why this team isnt getting it done and I think the criticism is warrented but it is time to put the losing streak behind us. Its time to focus on cheering them on vs. the Brownies. Winning cures everything so if they win this week all will be forgotten. I dont think its anyone's job to tell fans to stop criticizing their team. People's frustration are just boiling over, expectations were so high this year and the team has not played up to those expectations. I think something would be wrong if we were not frustrated.

ANY DOGS IN THE HOUSE!
