Well this threads is about TO and receivers, so figured I'd chip into the conversion about TO and receivers.

Is everyone forgetting that TO cant catch? We dont need another WR. We put up 385 passing yards and 2 td's against one of the leagues best defenses, and we did it while playing catch up all game. Imagine how good we would have been if we were able to run the ball as well.

If we're going to trade for a Buffalo WR, then it should be Lee Evans. He is what Clayton was supposed to be-- a lightning fast deep threat with great hands and is consistent.

As good as Lee is, is he really consistent? Buffalo's offense has been putrid at times but Evans hasn't been consistent this year or at any point in his career. He's a great deep threat and make highlight reel plays but he disappears in many games too.

So has T.O. and everyone else in that offense who isn't a RB....I'd rather judge a guy by his talent than his production when they play in a system like that.

there is no plus side to getting owens he will mess up a young and bright future offense as soon as he doesnt get the ball . im like everyone else on here we need an elite wide reciver but bringing t.o. here is not the answer.and what would we trade for him we cant spare any def or offensive players so we give up draft picks why we allways draft really well hes not worth it......

I'd definitely rather have Lee Evans over T.O. Personality-wise, production wise, across the board. Give me Lee over T.O any day.
