Hell I'd take James Hardy since he had to take a back seat to T.O. This second year player could be pretty good. He's tall, has good hands. They expect a bright future from him in Buffalo.

I don't want to make this another WR vs CB thread, buuuuttt I do not think our issue is at WR! Plain and simple we need better corners, seriously Walker and Carr are not getting the job done! We had 2 Interference calls that led to points, they cant keep up so they decide to pull and hold on to jerseys come on guys its plain and simple those guys sux!!

Flacco has nearly eliminated the need for a WR late in the game, great job spreading the ball around. I wish McAlister and Stover was available. I think Walker did a great job playing number two over Foxworth. I'd hate to beat Foxworths confidence but Frank Walker is a better cornerback. I disagree with the P.I. called on Walker. Landry has something to prove he left Walker on an island on that play well played by Walker. Other than than the secondary was solid late in the game.

I dont care, just get another WR,
Clayton + Mason had 10 receptions for 154 yards and 2 TDs.

If there is a need, it isn't at WR at this point.

T.O. Would be a great pick up for us b/c he would be a solid #1 reciever who is physical and gets yac. He would be awesome receiver for us and Dmason would be the number 2 receiver with either Clayton or Washington as the 3rd...and Ray Rice in the backfield! That would be one dangerous offense for sure. I seriously doubt he would distract our team. But i seriously doubt we would make the effort to pick him up.

Can someone explain why the ravens would express any interest in Terrell Owens?
I can explain why we wouldn't

simply put.. they made a trade for him to the 49ers but when he got dealt he didn't want to be here.. he turned his back on us and went to philly.... why exactly would we feel the need to bring a less productive that here?

personally he's just one of those players I would stop watching the ravens if he joined... him and pacman jones tbh

thats the thing... he would destroy the locker room.... and if you honestly think he wouldn't .. look at his history.. did it in SF.. did it in philly.. did it in dallas... and is doing it now in buffalo.... and as of now what would warrant him worth a trade.. what has he done this year?

risk > reward...

you can neg me all you want, but it won't happen...
1) Harbaugh is about GOOD character guys... not really T.O.
2) He already refused to play for us.. so now we should return the favor
3) He hasn't done anything this year... cept for cry.. what do you think is going to happen when he's drawing coverage off of mason and the rest of our receiving corps

The last thing a struggling team needs is a drama-cancer in the locker room. This would be an awful move.

Does this mean there will be a new TO thread every day? :IGNORE:

are these the same bills that are 2-4? where those the same jets that threw 5 interceptions... and have pretty much collapsed against the run... if they didn't win that game they really shouldn't have even been in the league... its surprising that it made it to OT

so yes... big cancer... in fact, HUGE cancer

It's all about priorities. Whether or not you like the current receiving corps, Mason, Clayton, Washington, Heap and Rice(he's basically apart of the receiving corps) all make enough plays to win games. People want T.O. here so he can free up those other guys but does T.O. command double teams or the attention like he used to? He's still a well-conditioned athlete that can make plays but why should the team bring him and his salary in when they five players in the secondary who have all underperformed this year? People may disagree but I think T.O. wants a Super Bowl more than anything at this point in his career but who knows how he'll mesh with the locker-room here? He's still a good player in my opinion but there are too many questions surrounding him and there are other pressing needs on the team.

well by ur theory then we must have a "small cancer" bc we only have one more win then the "terrible" bills.... crap who is the cancer player for us?

uhm.. is that a serious statement...

1) just cause we have a sub par record doesn't mean there is a cancer on our team.. if you want proof of that look at detroit.. no bad attitude, ripping the locker room apart players.. yet they only have one win

2) as much as you try to deny it, he is a LOCKER ROOM cancer... he has (or now.. had) skills

3) that wasn't my theory, you said how the bills beat the jets... I simply stated how they struggled when they had 5 interceptions against the jets... with a defense that seems to have collapsed... hell you give the titans 5 picks and I bet you they could beat the jets

i.e cowboys have had winning records in the past.. their cancers have been terell owens and jerry jones...

I welcome TO, he has matured a lot over the years and I don't think any of you have paid much attention to him this year. Everyone remembers the old TO not the TO thats playing for the Bills right now. I think the media combined with last year just got our hopes to high on the 2009 season. The cancer in our locker room would have to be poor Defensive Coaches if anyone wanted to point fingers. This 2009 Ravens team is 9-7 at best (maybe even .500) unless they either pick up a big name WR or strengthen our Secondary. No way a team like this can get through 2 games against Steelers and one more against the Bengals with our current D and our offense being where it is now.

uhm.. to be frank... we are 2-3 bad plays from being 5-1 or 6-0

the clayton drop that he should have caught for a first down maybe a TD (that is where the or comes into play)
the ray lewis hit on chad ochocinco, and the missed fg that went wide left... we still have a legit shot at our division.. therefore the playoffs... and hopefully a superbowl :argdancingravensblueonwkk8:

You could just as easily argue we were a few plays from being 2-4 with that Chargers game in mind. Great teams finish things and our record for down to the wire games is 1-3 and that's a fact. We are a perfect example of the 2008 Texans... great offensive team that almost won them all but just couldn't close out and I'm pretty sure they finished 8-8. But at least the 2009 Texans were able to beat the Bungles!

I'd love to see a playoff run and I think most fans have their heart already set on it, I just can't bring myself to get on that badwagon just yet, changes over the bye will either make or break it for me. We are 2-3 bad players from 5-1 or better yet 6-0 but the 2-3 bad players are habitual offenders it seems. I don't count Clayton in that 2-3 bad players because on any given week, passes get dropped. The TD yesterday was a confidence booster, our woes are not on the O side in my humble new guy opinion, they are purely secondary related. We went from a D powerhouse last year to something terrible this year. We can stop the run, we were a few missed tackles away from a stellar job shutting down AP yesterday, but we get torched by the pass so far virtually every game. TO does nothing for us I feel and if we're making a move, make that move for some secondary help. Reed can't carry the load singlehandedly.

I think its possible for us still... maybe not likely.. but if/when the D actually plays how they are known too... it will be very very very scary for opposing teams...

but as far as the D's go.. some of the best from last year are failing miserably... steelers, titans, ravens

I just think we need to shake off this Playoff mentality the media has set the stage for and enjoy some football. If this Organization makes a big trade or picks up a big name CB/WR I will at least feel like they did everything they could to give us the best shot. If not I'll still support the Ravens and hope for some big upsets and hope we can some how make 10-6 (which just might be enough to get a wild card the way the AFC is looking). In the meantime I hope our Secondary is working on overtime at the training camp trying to improve.

He wouldn't be a long term solution. Wouldn't you prefer to have a young receiver to grow with Flacco?

But why do the Ravens have to get that "young receiver" now when the team obviously has holes that are arguably more important?
