It Could Be Worse....

23 posts in this topic

We could be Titans fans right now. From first to worst, no shot at the playoffs. Atleast the Ravens have remained competitive, even when losing. So, lets take this time to appreciate our Ravens, short comings and all.

I know... They're losing, in the 2nd quarter, 38-0 vs. the Pats!

This is true... but it's a tough pill to swallow knowing you are a couple of late defensive lapses away from being 5-1, and possibly 6-0 if Clayton makes that catch.

Up by 38 with 40 seconds, and the Pats are calling a timeout, with Brady in, trying to score once again...

A perfect example of why the Cheatriots are so popular... :P

Our Redskins fans. Their team gave 3 winless teams their first wins.

I felt good about our guys not giving up. We the fans gave up on them, but they never game up on themselves. I applaud them for that. Now we should be playing 60 minutes of football.

So, true... Glad they didnt quit but that makes them even more frustrating. Imagine if they played like that all game vs NE, Cincy, and Minn. Never mind, dont.

This is a Ravens appreciation thread. Be grateful.

The only way this season could be worse is if we had lost to San Diego.

Apart from that game, we have choked in every single tight contest.

I'm purposefully not counting the Kansas City game.

I don't see why everyone wants to throw every single raven player overboard now all of our loses been close games decided by either bad calls or one bad play. I'm not sayin this because i'm a ravens fan but I still see us as bein the best AFC team right now. I know we lost three straight but if you actually watch the three we lost you would know where i'm comin from so I couldn't agree more with your statement Neepo. GO RAVENS!

honestly... we are the reverse of the bengals (not record wise) .. but before today they were 4 plays away from being 0-5... as well as 1 play away from being 5-0... we were pretty much the opposite of that... our 1 play that won it for us was the ray lewis taking out sproles

We're not losing to bad teams and we're not losing big.

3-3 isn't bad, a certain 2000 team had a 3 game slump and went on to win big in January. Which tells you how much these first couple of weeks matter

52-0 NE, and they're still running it up. Brady has 6 TDs, 2 minutes into the 2nd half.

How much do you want to bet that Bill Belichick will be going for the record of most points scored in a game.

I'm surprised Bill isn't picking up snowballs throwing it all the Titans face. Trying to rub it in as much as possible.

OT: I love the snow. Hope we get a few like that this year.

Agreed, Had we started the season 0-3 and then went into the bye with 3-3 people would be looking at it in a whole different perspective. We can still end up 13-3.

No, there's a certain amount of humility involved. Losing a close one to the Vikings on the road is a whole lot less embarrasing than losing a close one at home to say the Chiefs.

But for the team your right.

They are the evil empire 4real. After halftime, when i saw Brady jogging back toward the field...i was sick to my stomach. They're definitely rubbing it in.
