We all was so excited to have Ray Ray resign but at what cost? I am a die hard ray ray fan but our secondary is hurting.. Was playing him all that money costing us to lack in the secondary.... I wish ray ray would have signed with another team.. not because I dislke him its because i could blame our bad defence on Ray Ray's absence.

Was resigning Ray a good thing? Did it cost us? We now stuck with a terrible secondary? Did all the off season attention go to Ray Ray and not the secondary? I love number 52 and glad we got him back but right now i wish he would have signed with another team.... this way i could blame his absence on our terrible Defence.

what r u watching.im sitting here at the game in minnesota and u have no idea what ur talking about. u see camera angles, go read our corners pages or something then make judgements, u dont know ravens defense this year obviously under a new coordinator. and from what im seeing sitting up.. our corners are playing well, especially downfield which brett favre is looking at everytime, guess what WE ACTUALLY HAVE PRESSURE!!! UNBELIEVABLE, i think mattison might have gamed right. where can u sit there and say ur missing CMAC... lol chriss carr made that mistake in the endzone, and where has every pass been in this game and every other game.. OVER THE MIDDLE. maybe watch the game and see who covers who, u people put blame on our corners when there playing good.. minnesota fans are sitting here saying how we have no help over middle, but guess what we finally put webb in the game as well as haruki which i have been saying for awhile... Fans here even say our corners are good. do u know our defense schemes.. CUZ WHAT our corners do is they cover outside, once the reciever cuts over the middle he plays the checkdown or cover 2. but if noone is helping out over middle he needs to hurry up and go cover him.. stop blaming them.. alright ill update in a bit from my berry... offense needs to get to work!!!

We are second in the league for biggest plays given up, what does that say for our corners now to all of you doubters that our corners are doing an ok job.

THEY STINK! Foxworth does not know how to tackle to save his life. Ridiculous!

Oh & Landry should be included with the terrible group!

Do we lead the league in penalties? I know some seem bogus, but many don't. Who leads our team in penalties? I'm guessing one of our DB's.

Something to be proud of! :34853_doh:

This may look like my first post, but I no longer have the same email that I did last season.

I was born and raised in Baltimore, went to the University of Maryland and still live in Towson.

Defensive Coordinator Mattison needs to be FIRED!! For more then obvious reasons. 400+ yards to Phillip Rivers and what would have probably been more then 400 yards to Brady if it wasn't for all the penalties and now this (Vikings); he needs to GO.

Devon Landry - I can only Pray that they do not re-sign him at the end of the season. He seems to just follow Ed Reed around the field and leave the middle of the field completely open for numerous completions.

Chris Carr - this guy is a JOKE. Any time that he steps on the field it causes a penalty or a turnover (and not a good one). Probably the reason the have Webb returning most the kicks now.

TRADE FLACCO WHILE HE STILL HAVE VALUE - That's right, I said Flacco, BYE-BYE. I watched him all season and it seems like he has his "glimmer" of actually living up to the name "Joe Cool" that I watched him develop last year - but when actually under pressure (this year), like in a game, he looks scared out of his mind.

FoxWorth was a HORRIBLE pick-up and is way to small and SLOW to compete with anyone in this leage; PUT IN WEBB.

And GOOD-BYE Jon HARBAUGH!! Get him OFF the team. His absolute lack of courage is disgusting. Harvin has been returning all balls today to the 40 yard line and Harbuagh won't go for it on the 48 yard line 3 times so far? That makes NO sense. His lack of GUTS when the Ravens have a partially decent drive, over a matter of 8 yards, is ridiculous.

I see this season ending at at probably 6-10. ESPECIALLY because the Ravens secondary couldn't guard a pee-wee football team offense. They are HORRIBLE. I have NEVER seen so many penalties or wide open receivers, in my entire life of watching this team.

You can say what you want - Flacco had a lucky rookie year and so did Harbaugh.

Looks to me like the defence is just giving up to soon on plays. I have been a fan from the start and I have never seen our defence look so bad. Is it time to start looking at Mattison's play calling? And it is starting to look like Foxworth is going to be a bust. And can we please cut Walker he is nothing but a punk! I hope some how we can turn this around.

Everybody watching the game should agree that Mattison isn't doin his job, and our secondary aint doing -Blank- either Carr really played like it was his first game of football. In my opinion Find new people that will get the job done.

Our Db's are a joke sorry ozi where did you get them on a soccer field ? Run into and block each other, lost in coverage or missed a important tackel.

I dont wanne blame only Chris carr how showed again what a retarded he is. But the whole secundary screwed up.

I realy think something must happend we get panaltys and big plays on back to back games And our D cant do nothing aganinst it.

I don't know if the Mods cleared my last thread, but I didn't break a single rule - so I will just keep re-posting it cause I guess it was accidently erased.

First off, my email address changed and I have had an account for the last 2 years.

I was born in Baltimore, raised in Owings Mills, attended the University of Maryland and now live in Towson.

Defensive Coordinator Mattison - For more then obvious reasons. 400+ yards to Phillip Rivers, what would have been 400+ yards to Brady (without all the penalties) and now today.

Jon Harbaugh BYE-BYE!! - Harvin has on average returned the ball to the 40 yard line, and Harbaugh won't go for it on the 48 yard line with 4-5 yards to go? 3 times in a row. Hows' bout' some moxy.

Flacco - BYE! I watched him develope during his rookie year and at the time he was pumped and just wanted to make some completions, so he gets the name "Joe Cool". Now that he has been in the league for a year - he looks scared out of his mind when he is scrambling around.

Foxworth - Sorry! He is to small and too slow to keep up with 90% of the wideouts in the league.

Devon Landry - PLEASE don't re-sign him. From what I can see, he just seems to follow around Ed Reed and not even try to cover the middle or pay attention to what the quarterback is doing.

Chris Carr - Last by not least. Almost EVERY TIME this guy steps foot on the field, a turnover occurs (and not a good one) or causes a penalty. Why? He was a good punt returner for the Titans.

I LOVE that like 60 yard pick-up Peterson just had. Where was the Safety that was supposed to be "migrating" to that side of the field? Oh that's right, it's landry.

I love the Ravens, and will probably piss a lot of people off with this post. However, I cannot stand to watch this defense give up so many big plays week after week. We were exposed in week 1, Dewayne Bowe, every since our DB's are exploited every week! We cannot generate a pass rush and besides stellar play from #52, our defense just looks FLAT. Lower expectations we will have to grind this season out. With any luck we will end up 8-8!

Why are we taking Frank Walker or Chris Carr and not Ladarius Webb to cover the WR. in my opinion Webb is a better corner than both of these guys and just dont understand why we are not using him.
i havent seen him play any down on defense yet

The broadcaster saying "I haven't seen a defensive collapse like this in quite some time". What is that like 45 seconds, the score is tied because the Ravens are basically doing the same thing. There were SO MANY people in the Cinci board talking smack at the end of the last game - and Cinci already lost.

And all of you said that my hatred for Frank Walker was ungrounded.....

HE BLEW THE GAME

I think we should not have ran the ball at the end before we kicked it because Hauschka is still fairly inexperienced........ and better field position would have helped him

The Ravens are absolutely the laughing stock of the NFL. Can't get it done no matter what it is. So you guys can ahead and complain how we need another kicker. The fact is we allow ourselves to not get it done early in the game. We'll be lucky to get a wildcard spot for the playoffs. Even if we do, we can't catch, can't defend, and can't kick a field goal WHEN IT MATTERS!

This is, arguably, the third straight game that our defense has lost for us.

They haven't been able to consistently make stops when we needed them.

We've dug ourselves a hole which will take an 8-2 run to get out of, and then an additional 4 - 0 run in the playoffs; so in sum, we'll need to go 12 - 2 the rest of the way to win the Super Bowl, or we'll have regressed from last season.

Pretty dreary outlook, and although I want to call this season over, I'll take things game by game, I guess. :th_happypills:

I don't believe the Defense lost this game. Once the D shutdown the Vikings O, our offense didn't do anything when they got back out there. In saying that, As a team we were losing, as a team we gained ground but it came down to the kicker that missed the 44 yd FG. I'm not saying that it was Hauschka's fault but hey!

The defense gave up 33 points, and the game-winning drive, yet they didn't lose the game. K.

At least the Ravens keep it interesting.
They find a new way to break our hearts every game....... Pathetic.

Ok, I know most of you feel like thisor worse, but lets take a deep breath and TRY to calm down. Right now the Bengals are 4-2, Steelers 4-2, and we are 3-3 with a bye. If we start to fall behind 2-3 games then I can see us not making the playoffs, still enough time to catch up and win the divison! And please dont give me crap, im just trying to stay positive

Yes they did but the O wasn't playing spectacular football. I still stand by .. they lost as a team and Haus missed the FG.
