Week 6 – Baltimore Ravens At Minnesota Vikings

1,960 posts in this topic

Why was Frank Walker in the game during Minnesota's last couple of drives? Why does our Defense stink this year? Thank you, Greg Mattison and the rest of the D for once again giving up 80 yards of field and costing us the game.

Now everyone get on Hauschka, like we did Clayton! We beat ourselves on this drive.

How did we beat ourselves on this drive? Somebody blew it. That seems to be a recurring theme of the 2009 campaign.

don't even start that.. We have the freaking right to get on Steve... That is completely unacceptable ... Our team is a joke.. We can't play 60 minutes of football if our lives depended on it . So freaking inconsistent

Stover isn't the answer, he is just as unreliable outside of 40 as Hauschka.

We have to go through these growing pains with a young kicker, there isn't much of an alternative.

This is why I was saying that we should have managed the clock in a more efficient manner and called another draw so as to get five or six yards closer.

Oh well, anyone that didn't see us tripping up somewhere along the line was crazy as we needed to stop the Vikings from getting in the endzone again, have our receivers play up to par, have the line not give up any sacks, use the clock with no timeouts, and have our kicker nail the game winner from 40+.

We were able to get down to the last step, but honestly, Hauschka was the biggest variable anyway, and with that kind of noise, with a kicker that young was just too much to overcome.

I think the snap was a bit off, but still fine, which probably shook Hauschka up.

I though it was only a 34yarder?

Good game. Learning experience for Steve.

Good effort from the offense. Flacco, Rice, did yall thing today.

Defense needs to sharpen up... BIG TIME.

Lots of positives and lots of negatives, mostly defense.

No turnovers by both sides... good clean game.

Learning experience, lmao. What does that mean for a kicker. HE SUCKS, and I HATE MATTISON!!!! Cam had horrible play calling in the first half. Downright horrible! 2 positives:

1.) If we switch to a 3-4, we will dominate. I'm not kidding. LB: Lewis, Johnson, Gooden, Suggs, backed up by McClain, Ellerbe, and Barnes.

2.) When Cam calls good play, we play well.

I would put more blame on Walker than Hauschka. Walker had 2 P.I. calls because he can't play defense. Never should have had to put the kicker in that situation. Although Hauschka should have made it.

44 yards in a freaking DOME. That should have been in, the snap was bad and he hooked it. I gues this will be one of the growing pains of Hauschka but my oh my is it painful.

Boy does it suck to be a Raven fan. I am sick of these heartbreaks.

I blame Mattison and Harbaugh. Why the hell would you let Walker cover ANYONE one on one? Especially, he had already given up a pi call, questionable one, but a pi call none the less.

Lots of posititves. This isnt like last week, they actually showed up to play for a little while this week. I am more confident in this teams ability then I was after last weeks game but I am ticked because we havent played to our potential the last few weeks.

Im sorry but Franks first flag was bull spit. That was perfect shutdown corner play. The second one though, yeah, he turned the reciever.

Maybe if Fabe didnt play so damn bad Frank wouldnt have gone in.

I'm interested to see if they find even more ways to lose in the next weeks.

-Overall, the defense didn't look good again... plain and simple
-I never critizized a single player, but Frank Walker is the weakest link in our secondary.
-Penalties are KILLING us!!!

Yeah for real. I agree with everything you said.

Unlike a lot of people, I'm not 100% upset by this loss. Yeah ok...our D has got some SERIOUS issues but the offense stood tall, hung in, and clawed their way back.

There ARE some positives to take into the bye, despite being 3-3 and behind the Steelers and the Bengals.
