Ravens Dave

Week 11: Cleveland Browns At Baltimore Ravens

As it stands, Derek Anderson and Kyle Boller have been about even. Take that as you will.

Meanwhile, Jamal Lewis and Willis McGahee have been each team's respective workhorse, and despite the number of points on the board, this has been a mostly defensive battle.

Can't argue with the facts, the entire AFC North has took us to school all year, consider us in the basement

Now we need a touchdown!! Of course 3 will do, but it would be nice to get the 7 now and work for the other points later. Kyle shows streaks of greatness, and then rookie like mistakes. I think a couple games in the pocket will do him good. By the end of the season, we should be able to determine if he is the future of this franchise.

Why do you think that Billick chose to pass and not run the ball once they were in the red zone right now?

Time management. Plus, McGahee was winded from all the TOUGH blocks he dished out in protecting Boller. Musa Smith has been ineffective all season, and it's better that the offense be aggressive, especially considering what little time is left in the game.

Besides, the Ravens were already in field goal range, so running the ball would be more conservative and be more to the advantage of those with the mindset of getting a field goal, anyway.

I think that's Stover's first touchback of the season.

And it couldnt have come at a better time , particularly with my head at stake!

Regardless of what you say about Kyle Boller, you can't deny that he's a warrior right now. He's taken so much punishment all game, and he's making the best of things. His 15-yard run was the ultimate form of self-sacrifice, next to the two helmet-to-helmet shots he took earlier, in addition to all the other hits he's been taking.

I agree that was a good play, but this is football, not war. It is stupid when people talk about sports and in the same sentence mention sacrifice, heroes, and history.

...WOW. 42-yard gain by Devard Darling.

So...what was that about not wanting Darling in the game and him not being worthy of being called a receiver?

Ed reed is not back there to fair catch! he is there to make plays.

That's the second fair catch for him and no returns.

my man i would have to disagree with you....

yes foot ball is not war, but what stops us from making that analogy?!?

football is about men playing to win for a cause.

football is physical like war.

Heroes make a difference....wouldn't you agree stover is a hero?

Sacrifice means you give up something....didn't boller give up the fact that he was going to be hit.

i think you just need to reconsider it man....football is "war" in a figurative way...catch my drift?
