Ravens Dave

Week 11: Cleveland Browns At Baltimore Ravens

For what it's worth, there's two schools of thought in that final drive before the end of the half.

Considering the field position and the wind out there, a field goal by Stover would not have been automatic.

An aggressive shot towards the end zone, in my opinion, is better than pinning our hopes entirely on Stover.

Consolation prize is, it's only 13-7 at the half, and a TD would put Baltimore in the lead by a point. On the other hand, a Stover FG would've made it 13-10, which, either way, would still put Baltimore in a comfortable enough position.

Also, the Ravens get the ball back at the start of the 3rd quarter, so had the TD been made, and had the initial offensive drive of the 2nd half stalled with a FG, the lead would've been 17-13.

Well, if you're not gonna throw it to Devard Darling when Mark Clayton and Derrick Mason are covered and Sypniewski is blocking, then would you feel more comfortable throwing it to Yamon Figurs or Matt Willis?

And if you're asking who Matt Willis is...I understand. And that's exactly my point.

Each player is out there on the field for a REASON. Don't doubt them.

seemes like the recievers are a problem today

Yeah, it's pretty lame how little they seem to be fighting for the ball; especially when you consider how hard the defense is playing in comparison.

But at least we moved the ball some on the last possession. Hopefully they'll come around.

Boller has a crazy strong arm but has underthrown every deep pass this year... let it loose man! Too bad he can't throw it from one knee in a game...hope he gets into his zone soon.. we need it

LOL @ me being required to keep my composure here in the press box, when certain media types are a little too biased and overanxious.

(just throwing that out there...)

Boller looking completely different this half!!!! Here comes the confidence and composure we have been seeking from him... and to no suprise Willis breaks a big run... see what can happen to our offense when we start throwing more than 3 yard passes!!!! Touchdown!!! haha too much is going on when i'm wrtiting..

Willis has scored on the ground in each of his last five games. that kind of shocked me because I dont remember us scoring all season! :P

thank God...lets just keep seeing those quick outs like at the end of the half. soon as the defense starts to adjust, BOOM bomb it downfield.

Surprisingly, Cleveland hasn't attacked Derrick Martin/Corey Ivy as much as I thought they would.

Instead, they've been testing Chris McAlister all game, I guess assuming that McAlister isn't 100%. But he's done an admirable job covering Braylon Edwards so far.

Damn it!

in retrospect, we would have been better going for it on fourth, but that would have been stupid.
