You throw Troy Smith, a ROOKIE, in the fire NOW? What happens when his first drive FAILS? How do you think he'll handle it when the boo-birds come out? An NFL QB's psyche is VERY fragile. We know this firsthand with what happened to Boller before McNair came to town.

you can't expect our defense to be able to hold them every set of downs. Boller has been turning it over 3 and out or faster (turnovers) every time. Maybe Troy Smith could be able to give our defense to get a little rest once in a while

But if our line continues to let pressure in I think it would be a good decision to get a mobile QB in the game.
