not a chance. Im a die-hard Ravens fan, but I have to look at the situation objectively and that FG has to be good IF and ONLY IF the refs interpreted the rule correctly. If the ball at any point goes through the uprights then I agree, we lost. If the rule is actually that the ball has to go through all the way to the ground than we lost. Also, if the ref ever went under the hood to review the play(unless the equipment was still "not working") then we should have won.

But, the way I saw everything unfold, it seems that it should stand, sadly. If everything stands no one will care much, save Ravens fans...If they overturn it and give the Ravens the game there will be major reverberations throughout the league and the entire NFL audience I believe.

I agree. The call is going to stand. The post game guys on CBS said the the head ref never went under the hood. That have every right to get into a huddle and discuss among themselves what the correct call should be. They did that, got it right, and we lost. Hats off to the officiating crew on getting the right call, despite it being to our demise. If you take the time to watch the replay, the ref on the left side of the goal post shakes his head yes as if he thinks it is good right when the kick goes through. The guy on the right is the one who makes the first signal and says it didn't go in. They huddle, get the correct story and make the call.

It will not happen, as the refs did nothing wrong, they made the correct call

There should have never been an overtime. If that ref didnt review the kick why did he leave the field and go over to the review booth. The NFL wont overturn it though, thats the way the game was drawn up to be played out. The NFL is fixed, I am convinced. There is no way it isnt the refs have way to much control.

I've just read over all the stuff that I missed while I was downstairs in the post-game conference area, and I just simply have no comment on the things I've seen said.

I'm appalled, period. That's all I'll say.

There are rules here, and I can't believe things got that out of hand.

And frankly, had it not been for the good outweighing the bad today, that entire exchange would've only made the heartbreak of the loss worse.
