How can you not blame it on the loss? Don't get me wrong, if Billick wasn't a total idiot it wouldn't have mattered because there wouldn't have been a field goal attempt for Cleveland...however, the Browns still should have lost. They did not deserve the win, period.

Such crap that they gave them that field goal, even if that is considered good in the rule book, its also in the rule book when the refs made the call that is was no good, its NOT reviewable, its NOT challangle, its NOT supposed to be discussable and to be allowed to change the call on the field.

I don't much buy into a team "deserving" to win or not. Look the Browns lost to the Steelers and some say we should have won, but we didn't, we lost and we move on. They played better than us that day and I don't buy into the excuses that some make for that loss either.

np...as Ive said 3 times. the game was lost by bad coaching, not bad officiating. Sad thing is, Billick will actually have some ammo for all his press conferences. The offense did hold up okay compared to Steve McNair's job. But at the end of the day HE lost the game. In addition to not running on 3rd down at the end of the quarter, we should not have kicked to Cribbs at the end of the half or in OT. The touchback Stover kicked in early 4th quarter was beautiful. We could have used one of those at the end of the 4th as well.

not a chance. Im a die-hard Ravens fan, but I have to look at the situation objectively and that FG has to be good IF and ONLY IF the refs interpreted the rule correctly. If the ball at any point goes through the uprights then I agree, we lost. If the rule is actually that the ball has to go through all the way to the ground than we lost. Also, if the ref ever went under the hood to review the play(unless the equipment was still "not working") then we should have won.

But, the way I saw everything unfold, it seems that it should stand, sadly. If everything stands no one will care much, save Ravens fans...If they overturn it and give the Ravens the game there will be major reverberations throughout the league and the entire NFL audience I believe.
