Our ST is pretty horrendous

Tyree will (hopefully) make it better

If we still had Brendon and Marcus, we would be set... what a shame the last two are out.

Wow. The fact is, Mason, Clayton and Wahsington have turned into a cohesive unit. One game of fine CB play doesn't change that.
I just don't agree, at all.

If you think that unit is good enough to win a Super Bowl, all things considered, then you're simply wrong, in my opinion.

Rolle will be back in 1 week

If by "1 week" you mean never then I agree.

^ IIRC it was the game in 07 where the colts blew us out. Figurs returned one all the way.

I think David Tyree is an addition to the Ravens, got some talent for this guy
I like the way you think, adding someone is an addition!

He'll most likely play special teams and possibly WR. He'll need time to learn the offense before he plays alot. By that time they'll know where to put him. I'd say put him in the slot and make washington the 2nd WR.

Considering Dwill is not even getting in the offense, I see zero chance of Tyree lining up at WR any time before December.

from what i hear the main role for tyree will be pr/kr with some snaps here and there as a qb.i didnt think he would be solely a wr.

I don't think he has any actual KR/PR experience. He just has been on the kick and punt coverage.

Seeing as those are the reasons he was brought in, I'd say that's a safe bet.

Great, now Flacco has more competition at Quarterback. First Smith... now Tyree?

Seriously though... I was hoping you meant taking some snaps, as in playing WR during some snaps. However, then you say "i didnt think he wouldbe solely a wr". So I honestly do not have an idea on how to put a spin on your post to make it sound like a typo or misunderstanding. Why would Tyree take any snaps as a quarterback, let alone "here and there". I think you meant to say "...with some snaps neither here nor there as a qb". That makes more sense.

Anyways, I would have rather seen some depth or talent at cornerback, although the pool of defensive backs is rather shallow at the moment. But getting some help with coverage on special teams is always nice, with how our's has been performing thus far.

Is this signing good or bad? to me it doesn't matter and i tell ya why.If it about talent he has talent but will we use him properly. Look at all the talent we have that hasn't been used propery. TE heap last year he was a blocker this year he get the ball 4-5 time, LJ smith another TE we just had to have i know he got hurt but where is he now.I think cam isn't using TE propery some teams almost use them as much or more than a WR Heap could definenly be used as tony Gonzles how ever you spell it. look at NE TE used alot ,dallas TE used alot, steelers TE used alot we need to get with it we ahve good talent not used properly.RB not used properly,No huddle not used enough, look at NE,colts they use it to get them going and to keep other defences of kilter. So signinh Tyree is an unproven signing is he going to come in as a 3 or 4 WR.I say the palay calling isn't on the money and Joe need to read his reads better and make that long throw down the field and not over throw a wide open Wr.

Same. I don't see it happening but what if he pulls a Kelley Washington and starts catching some passes? Either way, he's going to help the special teams.

If there were any impact WRs, tall and fast, they wouldn't be Free Agents. All have liabilities, or they would be on someone's roster.
So trade for a receiver. . .?
