Down Loading Photo To Profile?

When I try to download a photo to my profile it keeps declining with the message wrong file type. What type of file do I need to download from?

I did look at the original thread and it is not answering this question. When I download it keeps giving an error message of wrong file type. I dont understand this?

The file has to be a .jpg or .gif, generally. If it's not in that format, you'd have to convert it (which is a complicated process to explain if you're not computer-saavy.)
