Owen Schmitt (Seahawks) Is Insane

12 posts in this topic

Owen Schmitt, in pregame introductions, slammed his helmet into his (bare) forehead, which required stitches to close. He's done this before, while at WVU.

He's in need of serious therapy...

LOVE THIS GUY...he was Steve Slaton's right-hand man at WVU as he helped him become an All-American RB, and I wanted the Ravens to draft him for depth if they decided not to re-sign Lorenzo Neal or move Le'Ron McClain full-time to RB. This guy could be the next John Riggins, if they give him a chance.

im with franny on this one.. i have a man crush on him.. i'd test him though (cough cough roids cough).. he went from not being able to get any offers to play college ball, playing D3 (maybe D2 or JC, not sure) for a year, then putting up like a 500 pound bench and 800 pound deadlift in a year.. hmmmm lol.. he was a great FB at WVU and I cant see that changing with his work ethic.. this is one bonafide bad you know what.

Keep in mind, head wounds bleed like crazy. There are a lot of capillaries there and even a small, inconsequential cut will bleed like it's deep. I'm sure given all the attention concussions are getting in football had it been serious they would have held him out.

Still, someone needs to sit him down and have a chat as a smack upside the head clearly will not work.

I think someone did.

According to PFT, he won't be doing the head-bash anymore...

That was the dumbest pre-game activity I have ever seen! Yeah, bang yourself in the head with your own helmet until you bleed right before the game, sit on the side line bleeding all over every where while the team Dr. stitches you up and then go play football. Very Smart. I guess the Seahawk's had to win 41-0 cause if he did that to himself for the pre-game, there is no telling what he will do to himself after a loss. :deadxr1:
He is a good candidate for after game drug testing!
