What are you gonna do with your name next year when Cowher doesn't come to Baltimore because A; He wont coach a division rival of the team he won a ring with B; he doesn't need or care about money, otherwise he would still be coaching and not have quit to spend more time with his family. C; I think he likes his current job of commentating on football games (who wouldn't)

Plus we couldnt afford AD anyway, the ravens made a right choice there IMO.

The problem with this is that AD isn't playing the same position in NE as Jarrett is in Baltimore.

while the stats are comparable what they don't show and don't tell is how AD would have performed yet again this year in Baltimore.

That said, I don't blame management for AD being gone, it's not like he wasn't wanted. He chose NE...again he CHOSE NE.

Baltimore defensively has done fairly well with replacing departed and injured players so I don't have an issue with them relying on their scouting again. Hell their success on defense has been for more frequent than their failures.

As for the issue on coaching. I undestand and agree with the thought that Billick should be gone, however, who out there would serve as an adequate replacement and do you want an offensive minded HC or a defensive minded HC?

Do we give Ryan the HC job and go out and find replacement Cordinators or do we look to hire Gilbride from the giants, or even Marty Schotenheimer?

This is a joke right? DG was like Art Shell in oakland..outta touch with reality. DG had issues with the AZ OL much like Art with the Oak OL. DG refused to move one of their oft beat tackles to guard...Shell refused to move Galley to guard...new year those to tackles are both striving at guard.

DG had other issues that go well beyond the supposed issue of paying his staff. His record each year in AZ declined. He constantly changed OL coaches and he hired people he had a history with who were all yes men. The coaches ran DG's system and when that failed the coaches found themselves under DGs bus. Lastly the AZ defense is doing fairly well this year running a new system despite having the same DC as last year. So if his pay made him less than a quality coach last year why is his pay not an issue this year?

Not really, everyone has been smack talkin us lately but Cowher has shown a respect for us which was more evident earlier in the season. He has admitted he enjoyed the rivalry and challenge between our organizations.

The worst was having to listen to the Monday Night Football announcers. They were making me incredibly angry and I couldn't find a Baltimore station to listen to on the internet so I could mute the TV. Even Jaws was making me upset, and he's usually pro-Ravens.

Yes but we are not doing any worse then some other teams. And what irks me is that when talking about other teams they will talk about their strenghts and how they can do better, what will improve when so and so gets back. Then they talk about us and its none of the above just we are not good or the occasional, they miss Thomas, which is total b.s. but thats my opinion.

There comes a time when the systems in place and those in control of those systems needs to step back and re-evaluate those systems. Billick has been at the helm of this team for several years, in that time they have been to the top of the mountain and right now are on the way back down to the valley. They had a QB who won, or didn't lose - which ever way you want to see it - a Superbowl and released him the next season, with most of the same players returning giving up all hope of repeating. Since then they have gone through 3-4 QB's with no success. People want to blame the players for what ever reason, but the real issue is the why not the who. When you really dive in to it and try to understand it, the management hasn't changed with except the OC. Billick has remained the constant - the philosophy and mentality hasn't changed, just the personnel.

Now, as with anything - this is a business - and businesses are in place to succeed, the success and or failure will always fall on management and I am sorry to say but management has not produced, so all of the talk about who they next QB will be and who will play this position or who will do whatever will be for naught. The real question that we should be asking is who will be the next head coach of the Ravens?

I wonder if Bill Cowher would like to coach the Ravens?
