You ready to give up that quick?

So IF we win. Will we be seeing the "this team is the best thing since slice bread" threads again?

Just trying to keep it fun man. Was just a little joke. I am with the Ravens win or lose.

Everyone forgets, we were 2-3 this time last year....... We'll be fine! We cn go in there and get a win, it will be tough though! We can do it!
However, back then we were 2-0 in the division. Now we are 1-1 and at risk missing the playoffs should we lose again to Cincinnati. I don't want to rely on, "which team loses to the Browns" to give us our playoff berth or wildcard slot.

Not only that, we are behind Cincy in overall wins too, so we would be hoping for a wildcard spot if it were later in the year.

However, it is not December yet, there is still time for the Bengals to bungle, the Steelers to stall and the Ravens to take revenge.

Next week will be salt in an existing wound.

Our team needs to get its ship together. Not a lot of cake in our future.

The Vikings beat SF sans their main offensive weapon and barely beat GB (is 2-2 with one of those wins being the rams.)

Both are sort of in the same boat as us only beating suspect teams.

The O-Line will be better next week.

If Gaither is back playing then we will take this game next week on the road, but if he's not get ready for a dog fight like this week folks.

I hope they have an answer for Jared Allen. Joe needs more time in the pocket so hopefully Gaither is back at a 100%

With that O-line we have.... Im scared for our Offense,Flacco especially! Im not too worried about Mr.Peterson as much as Bret throwing the ball. Our O-line, Play Calling and 2ndary really bothers me!! Thats too much to be concerned about when you have hopes for a potential playoff appearance

I'm more so worried about the Offensive match-up, their defense is running off momentum. 4-2 vs. 3-3 is big going into the bye.

WR - Rice (type of player our small corners have trouble against)
RB - AP (elusive RB we have trouble matching up with)
QB - BF (Pocket Present QB we have trouble wrapping up)

I see a lot of people worried about our O-Line in this game. We've only allowed 7 sacks this season. That's 8th best in the league behind the likes of the Colts, Patriots, Saints, Falcons and Giants.

We should be getting Gaither back. And we will be fine. People are basing their mentality on the Monday night game where Allen went crazy on GB. GB's OL sucks. Currently they are last in sacks allowed.

So are the Ravens going after Favre or Peterson?

The Rams went after Peterson and held him under 100 but he still got 2tds.
Obviously the Ravens are better than the Rams D but teams rarely shut Peterson
down without selling out for the run. Brett Favre has been feasting off that.
Ed Reed is a great weapon against Favre. It will be interesting to see if you
plan to stop Favre and take your chances with Favre. Eventually, teams will have to.
The Ravens might be one of the few teams in the league that could stop Peterson without
stuffing the box.

I think this is going to be a defensive dogfight. The Vikings defense hasnt played a complete game yet.
Our Pass rush might get in Flaccos face. I think we will be forcing Flacco to beat us through the air.
We will (or should) focus our attention on Peterson. Favre will have to play another big part in this game. And the way Favre puts up a lot of floaters - and Ed Reed getting back into his normal poise. We might be able to make him pay.

If I were Green Bay. I'd work on getting Harvin short catches in the open field. And also use Rice's height in the passing game. Tall players have been killing us.

I'm not saying Peterson can't go off. There's always a chance. But with Ngata and Gregg clogging up the middle, there's always a chance for the D to shut down the Run.

I'm expected another fourth quarter drive to try and win by Minnestota (It happens so often the odds are favorable). The question is will we break or not?

Should be a hard fought game. Anybody who thinks otherwise is blind by either the loss to the Bengals (Ravens Fans) or buying into the hype (Minnesota Fans).

I'll give you Rice but Peterson isn't really that elusive and Favre isn't hard to wrap up at all.

To me, this week we will see who the Ravens truely are. After two straight losses, they have to show that they can bounce back, learn from their mistakes, and beat a quality football team. However, Minnesota is a team that can and probably will beat them if the Ravens continue to shoot theirself in the foot with penalties and red zone turnovers.

What makes Peterson such a brutal player isn't his ability to hit a hole and take it to the secondary -- it's his ability to change direction on a dime at full speed. I don't know how he doesn't break both his ankles on some plays -- he's ridiculous.

All of AP's yards will come from outside runs- he won't get anything up the gut.

I know Favre wont be a whining crying diva like Tom Brady was last week. He'll take his punishment like a man

I truly hope so ... but you never know with any opponent we play. The refs hate us and the other team will take that advantage every freaking time. Damn you Roger Goodell!

See, I think AP will light it up. If Benson can be the first to run for 100 in however long, what is the best back in the league going to do?

I forsee Favre being silent (relatively).

Their D will destroy our offense, even if Gaither is back. Especially if Cam keeps passing all day. Establishing a solid run game may be the only way to come out with a win.

I can see us stopping AP, and maybe keeping Favre from going all out on us.

Their defense is going to tear our offense apart though, and their offense will make enough plays to win.

3-3 before the bye week it looks like. We couldnt stop Benson what makes you think we can stop AP? Vikes have one of the best defenses too and we are playing them on the road.

Harbaugh needs to make some roster changes. I rather see Lardarius Webb and Walker out there at this point. We need demitrius williams in the game too. He will get the jump ball.

Hate to say it but we were a better team with Rex Ryan. And I dont know what happened to Cam Cameron over the last 2 weeks.

We should cancel our flights to Minnesota. We are 3-3. Last time I checked we are 2-3. And if the Giants can beat the undefeated Patriots in the superbowl. I'm pretty sure we have a chance of winning this game.

Because we couldn't stop Benson, we can't stop Peterson? Why not? Last time I checked Benson is 4th in the league in rushing. He's really coming on.

I'll agree with the Cam Cameron part. But the Rex Ryan. Nah. He melted down. If he had Foxworth falling down against tall athletic wrs , he'd be in the same boat. The pieces are different this year. If Rex blitzed like he did last year. We'd probably be getting burned more than now.

Take down the Rex Ryan Posters out of your room. And stop playing break-up songs. This team just needs to execute and be disciplined.

Why would you automatically think we loose this game? only 1 rb in 40 games gets 100 yards on us and all of a sudden you think we cant stop anybody?
You must be too depressed after these 2 losses or something.

I agree. Green Bay shut down Peterson but because the Ravens gave up 120 yards to Benson, they're doomed to get gashed by Peterson.

It's the same thing that happened last year. Everybody was all hyped up then we lost three straight. And everybody thought we were the worst team ever.

Start Smith! Fire Rex! Harbs was a bad choice no expierence! Same thing different year. Mattison sucks! Our D sucks! We can't beat anyone.

Please. NFL teams have its ups and downs. Unless you are a clear cut dominant team every game is up for grabs. If you don't think we'll have a fire under our ****** when we go to Minnesota next week - boy your're damn wrong.

We are going to Minnesota, and we're going to play some football. There's a reason why we play the game. And I know the Ravens will show up. Not put away the tissues and support your team.

Divisional record matters of course but overall wins also counts. We will be fine, look for us to get back on track and back in the win column next week. This team always does better once we are in the dumps. Besides, what if I told you the Bungles have a good shot at losing 4 in a row...... Texans, Bears, Ravens and then the Steelers again. I think the Texans can lite up the Cinci. secondary!

Peterson hasn't had a 100 yard game in the last 3 games, you keep him from cutting outside and you should be ok. If he can't put 100 yards on the RAMS why is everyone already shaking in their boots, some fans are sad.

The main problem that the coaches need to address is the pass rush. I'm not worried about the run defense. The fact is, all of the d-lineman on the team are at their best against the run. It just so happens that the Bengals blew them off the ball yesterday and Benson ran hard all game long. I'm not saying Benson would've have run for 100 yards but his 28 yard run that took him over 100 yards happened because Barnes missed a tackle at the line of scrimmage.

In the open field Peterson is incredibly elusive. And when he's not elusive he's flat out running someone over.

AP led the NFL with 1,760 yds last year, and had 20 carries of over 20 yards.
