Fans come here to vent, opponents come here to keep tabs on us (maybe take pleasure in our frustration).

I do find it weird that when we win, there isn't nearly as much posting, etc....as when we lose.......

I understand the venting, but sheesh, why don't these people that come out of the woodwork to vent want to discuss when times are good too!!!!! Human nature i guess......

That's because most of the games we won were nothing to talk about. Somebody had to say it, so it might as well be me.

Exactly, last year they were playing a losing schedule, this season they are playing a first place schedule - which historically, after they have won the division they have not been able to produce in.

Yelp, I remember right up until the playoff game when we held the Colts to 5 field goals and yet again we couldn't find the f in goal line even with 3 picks.

That was the first time i acted like a girl and was crying in my seat, more because I was just so frustrated and it was the Colts*shudder* . I'm still not sure I'm over that loss.

No, i'm referring to earlier this year, tcamp, preseason, early season before our little free fall.....hey, i like more people talking on here whether it's good or bad......

I am here to vent. I used to go to Yahoo answers and vent but they didnt help because there are nothing but a bunch of Ravens haters there. Being surrounded by hate when you are down does not feel good. I would rather be around people who are full of love, for my team, but are down, like me.

I could take all the bad talk when I could point to the Ravens record but this free fall has driven me to an abrupt fall from my high horse and when we hit rock bottom, that blowout lost to Pitt, hurt like hell. And I couldnt take the trash talk anymore.

WHEN we beat the Browns, I will go back but for now, I am trying to salvage my pride and it doesnt help that I share a bed with a Steelers fan every night.

A "first place schedule" only involves 2 games every year. And we are yet to play our "first place" teams this year, colts and chargers.

The browns, bengals, steelers and us all play the same exact 14 team schedule (home and away is only difference) except for 2 teams you play based on where you finish.

Ravens play jets, cards, 49ers, rams, bills, patriots, dolphins, seahawks + Colts and Chargers

Steelers play jets, cards, 49ers, rams, bills, patriots, dophins, seahawks + Denver and Jacksonville

Bengals play jets, cards, 49ers, rams, bills, patriots, dophins, seahawks + KC and Tennesse

Browns play jets, cards, 49ers, rams, bills, patriots, dophins, seahawks + Oak and Houston

So the schedule really has a very very small part in it. Plus teams change from year to year. Teams playing us begining of the yar would have thought, oh know thats going to be tough win, and now its not so tough.

All my friends from college are steeler fans, so you can imagine the e-mails i got from them, but wow, your significant other is a steeler fan????? Ouch, that's got to cause some interesting Ravens Steelers games!!!!

You think? I am still not talking to him after all the hooting and hollering he did during that Steelers/Ravens game . I hate the Browns but it would have been so great if they had beat the Steelers, just to get him to shutup. Anyway, I feel your pain, at least you can delete the emails. I cant seem to get away from my fiance. Keep your head up, we will turn it around, I hope .

My parents' families, who are from Philadelphia, are Eagles fans. After the TO incident, my aunt bought my dad an Owens jersey. The next Thanksgiving, he wore it to dinner at my aunt's. So you never know who will laugh last.

I'm happy to praise our Ravens when they do well and I'm happy to vent when they stink.

I think alot of the coach/QB vents come in the hopes that someone, Steve Biscotti perhaps (I know that's not spelled right), will see our frustrations on these boards and see to it to start making some changes.
