I just can't see it right now. We will lose next weekend and 3 straight losses will destroy a locker room. Especially with so many people making huge mistakes.

Does everyone forget the fact that the Ravens defense lost many close games last year and people were doing the same thing to Rex Ryan?

Get your act together guys.

I didn't say we played great. I just said that I think we will get better, and that I have faith in the team. I just think if your going to lose faith in a team after just two losses, your not a real fan of them. Real fans keep the faith IMO.

Yea I never say "I miss Rex" because we broke down in the fourth quarter drives with him as well. People miss the W and think Rex was all that there was.

I might be in the minority. But even if Rex was available I wouldn't want him back. You think we break at the end with Mattison, the same will happen with Rex.

Rex can't do his thing with our current secondary playing the way they are.

When a team is regressing like the ravens are, you can't help but worry. The Bungholes aren't the best team we will see this season, thats why people are scared. Real fans are realistic and want the best for their team IMO.

I don't know how long you've followed this team, but there is a difference between not being a fan and just simply losing faith. I still love this team and I hope they will surprise me, but its just not looking good. 3-3 after next week is nothing to be proud of. This a reoccurring theme with this franchise.

I'd take Rex over Mattinson if for no other reason than the fact that he's more familiar with our players. (And there are other reasons)

You're right though; Ryan's defense fell apart at the wrong times too. Twenty-second in scoring anyone?

No one's losing faith, people just react differently after a loss. It hasn't even been a full hour yet since the final whistle, so no need to assume that people are losing their faith in the team.

Ryan's defense wasn't trampled on for 60 mins.

I was ready for Rex to be out. Partly because I thought he was to blame for our D being so undisciplined and partly because his play calling sucked. I am not sure any of our problems right now, would be solved if he was still here.

I have been following the team for years, I know our defense isn't looking that good right now. I guess I'm too optimistic. I just hope our defense, especially our corners get better. I am defiantly missing C-Mac though.

Its been pretty clear for a long time (at least 3 yrs) that our corners and receivers suck!!! before we had McAllister and he get beat here and there while the other corners are murdered now its jus fair game across the board....

Its simple we either need to throw to get a lead the run heavy or become much more balanced offensive attack because (as in yrs past we need to give the defense rest {only its a different kind of rest because we need to keep the corners off before they give up big plays})

but today the bengals stuck with the run dominated time of possession and got a win.....

Not this year yet, but last year the Giants owned us (also on the ground) and then there's this guy in Indy...he's been making Rex Ryans defense look silly for years.

Carson Palmer has passed more against the Ravens than against any other opponent, and that's all been under Rex Ryan.

In 2007, Rex Ryans defense was 22nd (?) in points allowed and the vast majority of opponents scored over 20 points per game.

Why does no one remember C-Mac's last couple games, where he got his backside handed to him? And most of the previous performances that were awful. Add in not listening to the team doctors and coaches...

We looked horrible and only lost by 3 points?

Grow up there is still 11 games to play.
come on now. Coates left 14 points on the board by himself after dropping two TDs. They in all reality should have put up 31 on us.
We were absolutely terrible today.

Let's also add the good hold up by Rice to get us an offensive TD. He should've been stopped in his tracks.

Also Clayton's call was pretty close as well.

Because he'd be a better nickel than Chris Carr. In Cmac's last game he got ripped by Marvin Harrison, I dont want him as a starter but Carr is just pathetic. We wasted 5 million dollars this offseason between him and L.J. Smith. Prehaps that money would have been better served bringing Lo Neal back.

Agreed. Had we won the game, Coates would've been our MVP for having dropped those two sure TD passes.

The Ravens left 3 points on the field due to Flacco's first pick and another 7 when he missed Clayton deep. Ray dropped a sure pick six. Shoulda, coulda, woulda, they had opportunities to burry us and they didnt. And we did a good job stuffing them in the Redzone, Coats had a big play and thats it, it wasnt a given TD, just because the announcer thought it was. He still had atleast 10 yards to go to get to the endzone on the first one. Reed was there and Fabian wasnt far away, he wasnt going to out run both of them.

let's tell flacco our defense isn't as good as last year, we can't turn the ball over in the redzone and expect the defense to keep holding a good opponent

There was a lot of points left on the field on both sides in this game.

The point is, we played horrible, and it could have been much worse than 17-14.

We aren't going to beat the Broncos or Vikings.
Oh, well let's just concede the game now then and rest everyone. Obviously, there's no chance we can beat them...just like most of us didnt think the Bungholes woud beat us.
