Mike Sando's Mvp Watch

12 posts in this topic

Came across this list, looks like Joe is #8, at the moment. There are a ton of QB's on the list. He is on pace to throw over 4000 yard this year.

Realistically, Flacco doesn't stand a chance against the likes of Manning or Brees. Of course, there's still plenty more football to be played, but unless things change, it will probably go to Seyton Manning again.

All he can say is "It's honor just to be nominated."

I think its cool just to have a QB that even gets mentioned in an "MVP watch" its been a long time coming, and it looks like its finally here!

Wow. Looks like Darren Sharper has a real shot at breaking Reed's return yards in a season record.

I think Flacco is fast becoming a trendy pick for the National media. I think if the Ravens won/loss record supports it, I think they will give him his just due. Flacco is the real deal and people notice it.

Seriously? C'mon dude, I love Flacco as much as anyone here does, but the best quarterback ever? He'll have an amazing career, I'm sure, but there's no way he'll be "the best quarterback the NFL ever saw". And Flacco is getting plenty of mention on the national level, I've heard his name spoken every post week show. He'll be one of the best quarterbacks, but not the best ever.

Anyways, honestly, it gets boring seeing the same player win MVP awards. In the past 6 season, Manning has won three of the MVPs, and it looks to move up to 4. I mean, I understand that he'll probably put up the numbers and be the most valuable player to his team, but ugh. Oh well, I'm fairly certain Flacco will get an MVP one year. It's just a matter of time.

Flacco will win a MVP before the end of his career.

How about Flacco will win a Superbowl (or more) before the end of his career? ;)

That could very well happen in the near future.
