How Do I ?

I know this may sound like a stupid questions to most. I am pretty much computer stupid. How do I?:

(1) How do I add a link to my post? Sometimes I find interesting things that I would like to share.

(2) How do I post a picture that I may want to share with readers?

(3) How do I add a picture to my profile?

(4) How do I add an avatar to my profile?

I'll take the first one.

Copy the URL you want to link to into your buffer (Ctrl C) works for this. Get to where you want to put in in your post and then click the little icon that looks like a chain link (next to the smile). Paste the URL into the first box and type your description (if you want) into the second box. Click Insert Link and you're done.

I'll handle the rest:

2) To post pictures, copy the URL of the image you want to post (image has to be hosted online, and has to end in something like .jpg, .gif, .bmp, or any other image extension) and then click the little square icon that looks like a picture frame of a tree (it's in-between the chain-link and the envelope), then paste the URL of the image into the prompt that comes up.

3 & 4) In order to add a picture and avatar to your profile, you must first reach 10 posts (which you already have); this is an anti-spam measure. Once you've reached 10 posts, click on your profile then click to edit your profile. There'll be tabs that designate where you can change your photo, your avatar, and your signature.
