I agree. I think that most people don't realize that this offense will replace the two years of his career that Ray lost under Billick. For the defense to stay on the field that long was shortening the careers of the star defensive players, that's why they eventually turned on Billick and Boller. It was a financial decision. Cam and Hue are giving them a two year extension on their careers.

I think I have deciphered what you mean from that poorly punctuated initial post. The way I see, it's all about having faith in one another - players, coaches, fans all supporting one another. I have no time for people attacking team members or coaches - and whining about a certain receiver or offensive coordinators gets fans or the team nowhere - if anything, it has a negative effect.

Interesting post, if you go back to the 2000 ravens defense save Woodson and the defensive line who retired soon after most of the players on that defense had significant and nagging injuries for their careers. Boulware only got 9 seasons and 3 of them were him at less than 75%, Sam Adams had knee injuries nagging him from 01-06 (granted he was huge so who wouldnt have knee problems). After Starks left Bmore he was never injury free and was hardly half the player he was in Bmore. Mcalister's knees were gone in 07, after 7 years in the league. After Herring left in 01 he was out of the league by 04 after suffering 2 season ending injuries in 03 and 05. Sharper was the model of consistency but in 2004 after a 7 year career retired due to a knee injury. Ray has not been without his share of significant injury either. So all in all interesting post by you.

That is true, but MOST fans can't see this. They can't see why the DEFENSE are the greatest cheerleaders for THIS NEW OFFENSE. The OLD offense ran the ball twice, incompleted a pass under an intense pass rush on third and long and then they PUNTED! The NEW Ravens LEAD THE LEAGUE in first downs. They are not punting the ball mish. That's what extends the careers of the defensive players.
