Chad Johnson is very funny , but I would pay money to see him in the boxing ring with Terrel Suggs.

His tweets about Fabian Washington & Vivica Foxworth were hilarious.

You tell his comments are in good fun. Not a primadonna like TO or what Randy Moss used to be.

Haha, yeah i was watching the video on nfl.com where he is talking about his Ricky bobby dance. Amusing, and I know its all in good spirits.

That said, Chad is gonna be lucky to get ANYTHING this week, much less a TD. If we had actually won last week, i would actually give the Bengals a decent chance of beating us, at the very least staying in the game. But really Chad, did you not see how pissed Ray was last week? Our entire team is gonna be playing with a huge Patriot-sized chip on their collective shoulders after last week. This is one of the games this year that we will come out of the gate swinging and will never look back, sorry OchoStinko. We'll take this one 41-13.

Ocho just loves the banter! I find it funny to be honest. He did say that he has a lot of respect for Fabian and Domonique and our D is looking good on film! And I know he's friendly with Ray.

He's a breath of fresh air to the sport IMO!

Ok, there's some hypocricy going on here! Two weeks ago EVERYONE was all over Kelly Washington because of his celebrations (of which pale in comparison to 85's) yet everyone gets a kick out of OCHO and what he does??

Kelley was doing the same "dance-like" moves, after a catch - any catch. I think he got "spoken" to, because he doesn't do it on 5 yard curls anymore.

Usually, Ocho does his dances on TDs only - and there usually unique, a new one every time... Entertainment, vs. what could be construed as self-promotion...

Not that Ocho isn't the absolute KING of self-promotion! But, usually, only on TDs.

Not me. Chad's a good boxer and would prolly whip Suggs. Suggs should say no boxing but yes to a real fight like Ultimate fighting. Then we see who's a man. Boxing is silly stuff.

Henry and Housyourmomma usually burn the Ravens.
Houshmandzadeh signed with the Seahawks in the offseason. Laveranues Coles is his replacement, about an equal skill set, maybe slight downgrade. Chris Henry worries you. Who's gonna cover him, Chris Carr? Eek. Even Foxworth had trouble against him in college when he was a Terp and Henry at West Virginia.

Suggs would have to be a big, dumb, slow ox for Chad to be able to stick and move all day. He claims he'd knock out Suggs, which is hilarious. Anyway, we know Suggs is a great athlete, not uncoordinated or oafish at all. I don't think Chad would actually have the cajones to step in the ring, he's just being silly. Defensive tackle sumo wrestling would be awesome. Ngata vs. Shaun Rogers, etc. Buddy Lee would dominate.

Chad's antics are really funny sometimes, but usually kind of dumb and predictable. The cheerleader proposal, for example, is crazy and random by touchdown celebration standards, but not particularly witty or creative. Better than the TO Sharpie and Joe Horn's cellphone, at least.

He wants to be called Esteban now.

By the way, he'd appreciate it if you called him Esteban now, not Chad.

We need to account for Chris Henry. He's off to a quiet start but is a hugely underrated receiver. He's talk and very quick with great hands.

I dont think Henry is much of a threat. He is now the 4th WR and Andre Caldwell is the 3rd. I'm droppin him from my fantasy squad

Does anybody remember the game last year when Cincy was on the goaline and Chad got knocked on his arse trying to block Ray Lewis? LOL

Your correct. Just look at the targets

36 OchoCinco
23 Caldwell
21 Coles
11 Henry

Everybody (well at least Bengal fans) was talking about Coles and Henry at the start of the season. And how they have a great WR team. But then this kid Caldwell comes outta nowhere. Palmer really likes him because he makes the catch.

All I know is, if the Bengals want to win this game they better get Henry in the game. So far we've really struggled with the big receivers. We are going to be able to shut down Coles. And Caldwell is like a very toned down version of Wes Welker.

I'd seen that vid before, except I think the one I saw also had him talking to Ray about it and laughing about how hard Ray hit him. I think that's when I realized I kind of like Ocho because he's more of a goof than a jerk with all his blustering.

What tipped you off to him going nuts? The fact that he legally changed his last name to Ochocinco wasn't enough for you? This guy is a complete waste of space in my eyes.

From what I understand; he is actually on pretty good terms with Ray ray and the boys and they all jib each other. Him more than others do the talking obviously lol. Unless I'm wrong? I always see the hugs postgame with Ray and such, they seem to mill around together a bit after the games on good terms.
Chad credited Ray and Denzel Washington to helping him get his head on straight in the off season, in terms of staying focused in the off season (with works out) and caring about the team and not just himself. He was on one of those ESPN shows that is on in the afternoon talking about it a few weeks ago...the one that comes on after Jim Rome, can't think of what its called.

Let’s begin here. I’m not a Chad Johnson fan (sorry, the Ochocinco thing just doesn’t work for me). Perhaps it’s my age and “throwback” way of looking at things, but showoffs just don’t impress me and if Johnson is anything he’s certainly a showoff. I’m a big believer in the old saying “act like you’ve been there before.” I think if you get into the endzone, toss the official the football and move on. So all of Johnson’s pronouncements this week about what he’s going to do to the Ravens and how he’s already sent the league a check to prepay for the fine he’ll get when he does something stupid in the endzone (assuming he actually gets there) is just more of the same nonsense. Then I read a piece about his youth. Dad wasn’t around and mom abandoned him and all of this is just his way of getting the attention he never got as a kid. It got me thinking. There may really be something to this. How sad it must have been for him as a kid. How many other pro athletes grew up in a similar situation and perhaps when we see this kind of behavior it’s nothing more than a young person crying out for the love and attention they never got from a family. I still don’t like his antics but rather than ridicule him perhaps what he really needs is some help. Of course, the best way to avoid his stunts on Sunday is simply to make sure he never sees the endzone.

There's a feature on his life up till he got in the NFL on youtube too. He's been through a lot and his need for attention probably stems from his childhood experiences. I personally find his end-zone dances and stunts funny but I refuse to acknowledge his name-change though and I'll always call him Chad Johnson. I personally don't think he will score this Sunday because he's not very big or physical and those are the receivers that have given the Foxworth and Washington trouble this year.

I really want to ask him if the mistake in his name (ochenta y cinco= eighty five; ochocinco is eight five) was on purpose, ignorant or he knew but does not care. Anyone know? It has been bothering me ever since he got that nickname.

I've heard that's the way most football players talk. They'll say "watch 2-2", instead of saying 22. So I've heard, I think it's pretty asinine too....

He will if he comes across the middle Sunday. I would love to see Ray unload on him like he did with Winslow last year.

Chad is entertaining. Makes the build up during the week fun. Seems like most of his antics are not mean spirited. Maybe he just needs a hug.

I think the Ravens should take him out of the game. If the Bengals win, don't let it be Chad.
