What Do You Want To See Sunday (Week 5)?

32 posts in this topic

Simply talk about adjustments or things you would like to see emphasized more against the Bengals. I would personally like to see:

- Le'Ron McClain get more touches. He may the FB but he's too talented not to get any touches.

- Mattison bring more LB blitzes. If Foxworth and Washington are left on an island, so be it. The front four doesn't get consistent pressure so the LBs have to blitz more.

- A new kick and punt returner. Carr has done very little on either kick-offs or punts.

No more touches for Le'ron. We have two great backs in Willis McGahee and Ray Rice, who are battling for carries how it is.

-I don't want to see Carr at all on sunday. Put Webb on KR/PR. Put Webb in at Nickleback.

-More Run plays, Less pass plays. Better playcalling by Cam.

-I want our secondary to play like a Raven instead of playing like a Brown.

-Interested in seeing more of Danelle Ellerbe

-More Antwaan Barnes and Paul Kruger in 3rd down situations.

-Ed Reed get a pick and have Dawan Landry not run into one of our own guys.

-Harbaugh to use time outs and challenges wisely. And keep his mouth shut so he doesnt cause his team 15 yards (I love how when he got the penalty Derrick Mason was in the background cracking up). Lead by example, coach.

Have to agree Alexir on all counts save one - the Browns are one spot above us in pass D.... (I know what you mean, just thought I'd point that out)

As for leaving our CB's on an island, Carson Plamer has more passing yards vs the Ravens than any other team. Just an FYI

Greg and Ngata putting pressure on Palmer

Webb take KRs (which I know they wont take Carr out...)

More running plays... (Willis and Rice)

LJ Smith and Heap in the action

Ngata not being so 1 dimensional, ya your a great run stuffer now collapse the pocket.

Def agree with Landry and the friendly fire, its acceptable, but guy you've done it like 3 times a game, and he is absolutely laying Reed out thats gotta stop.

Landry breaking down and actually making open field tackles with a guy running right at him.

Put Barnes and Kruger in on 3rd downs in 3 point stances and speed rush the crap out of Palmer.

Fox/Fab dont quit on coverages, dont let Ocho breathe all game long, get him frustrated then talk crap after the game.

They've already been tweeting each other about the matchups... Ocho claims he is going to work our CBs and embarass them both.

So, it's safe to say they will be mouthing all game!

this weekend i wanna see more blitz packages, maybe alittle bit of barnes and kruger along with suggs.. we gotta see some pressure on carson. and u know what im fine with foxworth and fabiam on the outside matched up with chad and whoever else is on the other side. what i really wanna see is reed and landry step up in the secondary. as well as lewis and t.gooden on coverage, every game we been letting up passes over the middle, short and deep. thats not the corners fault. they are there to play man to man. it would be nice to see lardarius webb come in and play the slot reciever alittle bit. let him show his talent.

If that's all you wanna see then don't watch the game and turn on SportsCenter @ 4:30ET, You'll see a W.

Obviously, that's not all I am looking to see, but if I come up with a laundry list of items I want to see executed, and see it, and we lose... who cares?

- need to see some angry swagger out of everybody especially after the way they were talking after the game.

- outside of the Cleveland game, we've been allowing at least 24 points a game which is way too many. That needs to stop.

- I want to see a better reffed game, which should be easy because of who are opponent is.

- On an unrelated note, I want the Patriots to get screwed on a bad call that costs them the game and I wanna hear what Brady has to say then. I wonder what type of skirt he'll be wearing, plaid or grass?

Offense
Rice 6.0 yard average. Mcgahee 5.4 yard average. Mcclain is a beast. Run the ball when you know you can. New England could not figure out how to stop the run. The passing game is a bonus but why did we abandon the most effective weapon we had against them. We let them off the hook. Cameron needs to stop auditioning for his next head coaching job and play raven football. With our line and our running game, no way we lose this game. What a shame. This game may come back to haunt us for home field advantage.

Defense
What happened to our very effective blitz packages. You know, the BLITZ THAT MADE BALTIMORE FAMOUS. We have strength, speed, experience and depth. What in the hell have I been watching for the last 4 weeks. Bad calls aside, I have seen more missed tackles in 4 weeks than this defense has had in a year. Come on. Lackadaisacal against KC. Barely beat (but got lit up) SD. Cleveland (OH WELL). And a loss to NE that should not have happened. Are we still talking Super Bowl or what? Time to get serious like all good Super Bowl teams.

+1 on the W.

I have no problem with McClain continuing to be a Fullback. I have faith in the other two. Probably should run more to eat the clock.

I'd like the WR to catch perfect passes...

Luckily the Bengals aren't the Patriots.

Obviously, I'd like to see our offense balance out a little more (though I love seeing Joe throw 40+ passes for fantasy purposes, haha). Even without Ray's 50 yd run last week, we were still popping the Pats pretty good rushing the ball. The Bengals run d is actually a little worse than last year I believe.

I'd also like to see ZERO turnovers and another win by 4:30 Sunday.

To be honest I would like our team to come away with another win. It does not matter how. I dont need to see a complete blowout. I could care less if we give up a touch down or two to Ocho Stinko. I dont care if have bad calls from the refs. I dont care if Flacco throws for 300 yards. I dont care if either one of our running backs get over 100 yards rushing. I dont care if we get any sacks. I dont care if we get any interceptions. What I do care about is getting the win. Most of all I just want all our Fair Weather Fans to quit complaining about all the negatives and just be satisfied with being 4 and 1!
I wouldnt mind seeing Detroit come up with another win too!LOL

I wanna see either a defensive or special team touchdown.... At least 30 run plays called no matter how the split goes.... over 150 rush yds (at least 180 pass yds).... I wanna see a shut out most of all... I want a statement to be made a victory with a score like 24 - 0...

Me 100 but also I want to see the RAVENS treat the bengals like they did the past two years. Lets get back to DOMINATING teams who r average and get to much TV exposure(PATS) who cares what u did in the past, lets DOMINATE, simple as that. THIS IS OUR YEAR!!!!!

If the safeties shore up their play the Defense will be set because the front line is playing good and so are the corners. For offense I would like to see Rice and Mcgahee set the tone with the running game and for Flacco to spread the ball around but also be smart. HOPEFULLY #71 IS SUITED UP AND READY TO GET AS WELL.
