He drops a TD then drops the 4th down pass that would have gave us a 1st and goal. That Clayton.

Clayton's a bust!

Beyond that, That was the worst called game i've every watched. 2 drives turned into touch downs from phantom roughing the passer among other calls.

I'm not going to get on the whole "TRADE CLAYTON" wagon as we're going to see soon enough here.

That was just, a little dissapointing.

Please Fire Clayton.....Please! This guy is a bum. The team fights it's heart out against the Pats, Belicheck, the NE fans, and even the refs. Please Fire Clayton.

We lost the game for a number of reasons, not just Carr or Clayton.

The Patriots drove the down field at will, almost no contest.

I think the call that Harbaugh was upset about was worth that ref losing his spot in his rotation. Then he tries to 'out testosterone' coach with a unsportsmanlike conduct?

High school class refs...

A lot more on our defense than our offense today guys. Yeah clayton dropped the 4th down, but don't think he's not gonna work 5 times as hard in practice this week because of it. Every receiver can drop passes, he just happened to do it at THE most inopportune time in the game. I'm already looking to Cincy next week and hoping Gaither will be ok...

Very Very disappointed in clayton. He has these lapses and should be demoted from the second spot.

Last game he slowed down on a deep pass. This game missed some tough catches and an easy game dependent catch.

I'm very disappointed in him. As I'm sure most are.

Forget the endzone drops....... the dropped ball on 4th and 3 was perfect reason why he is a below average number 2 receiver.

If we had a receiver that was say, over 6 feet tall, maybe a fade pass would work... That being said, there's no excuse for both of those drops.

2 drives keep alive due to BS calls which resulted in 14 points.

Well the Defense didn't have the best game. Its amazing it was a 6 point game that gave Clayton the Oppurtunity to drop a pass. If theres one guy that doesn't deserve blame, it's Ray Rice.

Also, that challenge on the fake field goal was probally left to stand to get back at Harbaugh. I thought the officiating was almost as bad as the 2007 fiasco

this game gave me multiple heart attacks...

I have always supported clayton, but this game, man he really disappointed..

2 dropped TDs, both which he was covered... and then... man o man, still cant get over that...

I still support you clayton, i think he knew that he had messed up, maybe he can bounce back next week? :th_towel-1:

Mark Clayton has proved today that he is not the go to guy when you need him. He should be in Owings Mills tomorrow catcing balls all day. Tonight he should have to sleep with a football. He has to learn how to hold on to the ball!!!

Clayton is never going to be a good wide receiver.

Our secondary is flat out terrible.

Chris Carr is Figurs 2.0 - let's not allow him to return balls for the entire season before cutting ties with him.

I must add however, the play calling was HORRENDOUS throwing the ball 50 times a game? that is NOT necessary, cam needs to brush up his playing calling... these are not the browns we faced last week.

Yeah, don't blame the defense or anything. Blame a guy for not making a game-winning catch in the endzone with two guys on him, or for dropping a zipped fourth down pass with...two guys on him.

Yes he did drop that pass that end up being the last play we had a chance to do something...but 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 and Mclain isnt on the field for either plays?? Running the ball less then 10 times in the first half?? I mean Carr (who is worse then figurs with the ball in his hand) fumbling out of the gate put us in a hole early. There were a whole lot of things that contributed to the lose....not to mention some piss poor reffing. But it is what it is, better to lose now to the Pats then later...

carr is the reason we lost. had he no fumbled, we wouldve kicked a FG there
[/quote]
That was the first play of the game. We had almost 60 minutes to recover from that. If you can't come back from 0-3 then...
