I guess Coughlin's finally had it with Tynes. Between the three of them, Stover should be the obvious choice. Did he begin to tail off at all with the Ravens?

So it's going full circle for Matt. He was drafted by the Giants and now he might end his career with the Giants.

He wasn't quite as accurate as he used to be and the Ravens had to carry a second kicker because he doesn't have the strength to do kick offs.

his long range dwindled out thats why we have Hauschka to begin with but the man was clutch, gotta love the playoff game against the Titans he signaled good when he got on the field he knew he was making that kick.

At this point the Giants will take accuracy over distance. Stover is still likely stronger and more accurate than Bryant and Tynes. I can see them going after Jeff Reed next year if he becomes a FA.

I'm shocked. Coughlin, for some reason genuinely has a soft spot for that guy. He kept him the Super Bowl year partly because he knew the kid needed the money and insurance (from what I remember reading. My memory is vague). Something about his kid I think.

I'd like to see Jeff Reed stay where is to be honest

Me too! He's been money over the years.

Stover will always be a Raven, regardless of where he ends up.

Unless he goes to the Steelers, Bengals, or Browns. Then he's dead to me until he retires.

A friend of mine in my fantasy league is on, what he calls "Stover Watch." He says as soon as he signs with someone else hes picking him up, just to agitate me!

I really dont want to see him wear any other colors :(

The Giants kicker, Lawrence Tynes has missed three kicks this year from under 40 yards, so they worked out Matt Stover and Matt Bryant on Tuesday.

sounds like the guy wasn't lying when he said he still wanted to play in the NFL.. how awkward would it be to see the Ravens career scoring leader play for another team?
