I hate them.......alot.......Texiaria can go away forever.......killed me when Randy Johnson signed.......and Mike Mussina will never be forgiven lol......Jeter on the other hand I can't hate the guy.....he's the Yankees' Cal Ripken....and a great ball player he should win the MVP......Think being an Oriole fan makes me dislike them more do I wish the O's had that success yeah sure.....oh well I guess ....and I'm beginning to think anything from Boston I will hate....The Pats.....The Red Sox....Bruins....JOHN CENA
!

Didn't like the Randy Johnson signing (they did it to counter the Sawx signing Curt Schilling) and I hated the A-Rod signing. Moose however became one of my favorites and I completely understand any Oriole fans being infuritated/crushed over it.

Aside from the city its self, I hate everything about Boston too.

it was supposed to be Dodgers/Yankees. Oh well, Yankees/Phillies should be good. I always rooted against A-Rod for some reason but now I find myself rooting for him.

You know what I find amazing? Go back and look at the Mariners roster around 1995-1997. It's incredible!

That's fine Buddy, but I think it's baseless. Hate 'em sure, but don't claim that they've ruined baseball because it just ain't true.

Of course you do, you're a Yankees fan!

By the way, Warden, what happened last night? The Angels basically gave you your ticket to the WS on a silver platter and you blew it... If the Angels win Game 6, watch out.

And you're a hater, so of course you just throw that statement out there. I at least backed up why I think your claim is BS.

I didn't blow anything. Nick Swisher and the Yankees blew it. It's not over yet and the Angels NEVER give away anything. The way you talk it's as if the Yankees should just sweep everyone in every series, yet they don't and still, they ruined baseball. Whatever.

Did I touch a nerve, Wardy? Wow... I'll rebut your "analysis" that the Yankees haven't ruined baseball at another time.

Try to remember that you're just reading text here. I don't allow people to get on my nerves. I'm more apt to laugh at a hater than anything.

As far as your "rebut" goes...., Can't wait!

And in a sweet little postscript -

Couldn't happen to a more deserving team

I vote for joint custody with alternating weekends and holidays.

~

If Saturday's game is as good as Thursday's, I might even skip Florida/Mississippi.

Not a huge baseball fan outside of the O's, but I'm hoping the Angels can pull off a miracle comeback or something, because having to watch the Phillies and Yankees in the World Series is going to make me sick

The Yankees have ruined baseball for the simple fact that:

No other team in MLB can afford Free Agents thanks to the exorbitant amount of money the Yankees throw at them, with no ramifications. They are the number one reason why MLB desperately needs a salary cap, and they proved my point this past off-season, guaranteeing $423.5 million to 3 players. Yes, that figure is correct; nearly half of a billion dollars for 3 players in one off-season!

The cost free agents has gone out of control, and the Yankees are to blame, because it all starts with them, and it has forced the hand of other clubs who can afford to spend a little bit of money as well, albeit a drop in the bucket compared to the Yankees.

If you don't believe me, see: Carl Pavano, Jason Giambi, Kevin Brown, Jose Contreras, etc.

While the Yanks have six of them on their team (2 of which are home growns) I think this is more of an indication that they can afford to sign more F/A's than it is an indication of them setting the bar for F/A salaries.

Again, the New York Yankees HAVE NOT "ruined baseball." I still think that claim is absolutely ridiculous.

Like "the Yankees ruined baseball," calling them the "evil empire" is hardly worth even acknowledging, much less defending against.

As I said, hate them because "they win too much." That's why most people who hate them do. If they signed 9 f/a's everyyear for $50 million a piece but never won anything, no one would care. Because you love the O's is reason enough for you to depise them. No need to make outlandish claims homie. ;-)

GO YANKS!!!

After Game 1 of the World Series, we can safely say that:

Cliff Lee > CC Sabathia

Phillies > Yankees

Let's hope Pedro can give the Phils at least 5 strong innings tonight.
