Well to me the postseason starts tonight with the one game playoff between the Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers.Hope the Tigers win because I just can not stand the Twins,I don't know why I just can't .
We have the Twins facing the Yankees
and the Angels facing the Red Sox.
In the NL we have
The Rockies facing the Phillies
The Cardinals facing The Dodgers
Who do you guys think will win? I was going to put a poll up but it would have to change each round and didn't know if I could modify it..so give me your thoughts.

Hey, I was born about an hour south of Yankee Stadium and grew up in the 70's. In my world, there was no other team besides the Yankees. lol

I always "liked" DJ but he wasn't my favorite player until I realized what an awesome role model he is for kids. Not crazy about A-Rod, but.... Gotta take the goo with the bad I guess.

I like A-ROD and I don't know my feelings on the whole steroid thing yet.Baseball is still a game of skill I mean come on a 30% hitter is considered good.

I don't like egos and I don't like pretty boys. A-Rod is both. Plus, I'm convinced that he's cursed (unless of course they get #27). -LOL.
I don't care if they bring in high $$ pitching, but they had great success with the farm system in the 90's and I'd like to see them get back to that. Home growns are so much easier to root for since they're not yet doing it for the $$.

Ditto. Funny, the Twins at Yankee Stadium was my first ever baseball game. '78 or '79 I think.

I'd rather the Yanks have to travel to Minnesota than Detroit if it came down to it. If for no other reason than the long ball.

Me either.

BTW-I missed the post about the Twins winning until just now. I think that's better for the Yanks, plus they used a whole lot of pitchers.
