I personally will always be a Favre fan I have stated i feel he is the best or one of the best qb's ever to play.Yeah his on again off again was a pain, but the man plays football and isn't afraid to take a hit(coughBradycough).Granted I hope we light him up in 2 weeks but I still cheer for him.

Hate the saga, not the player.

(Hate the media)

Favre was amazing last night, and I don't see why he can't play for another couple years considering how much better he is than a lot of the starting quarterbacks in the league. You can't say anything about Adrian Peterson last night either, Favre did it on his own.

Agreed. Media loves making the drama morseo than it actually is. I personally don't mind Favre. If he can play why not. He's definitely a better option than what the Vikings had.

props to a dude who is almost 40 years old and is playing like he is 22. If teams let him skip training camp every season he might be able to squeeze another 10 years. he'd have to be a Raider in order for his career to finally come to an end.

That was pretty funny at the end of the game. When the interviewer said something like "It's nice to get the last win in your 30s" and Brett paused and remarked "Thanks for reminding me."

He could then be the George Blanda of modern times...

Favre is proving he can still do it. Does he create drama yeah, does the media blow it out of proportion, yeah. I have always liked watching him and will still do so until he finally hangs it up. I think he'll take the vikings to the playoffs but I have a feeling his arm will give out late in the year.

the old man still has it. it certainly doesnt hurt that he's able to hand the ball off to "that one guy" 25 times a game, though.. like mag said, hate the saga, not the player. i love the guy. you all see that block on pat willis two weeks ago lol????

My problem with Favre is simple, you either retire or you don't. I could understand last year, you know, made a mistake, miss the game, etc, and comes back, ok fine but this year also?!?! Come on, keep your mouth shut if you're not sure. And the media blew it out of proportion. Was there a day where they didn't mention Brett Favre somewhere? I don't think so.
