New Season Gameplan!

O.K, I'm sure that most of us can agree, were probably not going to go to the playoffs this year, so i think we should use the remainder of the year to do something useful.

start troy smith!

I know alot of you are opposed to the idea, but hear me out...

If we start smith now, we will be able to see if we have a viable option for the future, and if not, then maybe we should take a quarterback with our inevitably high pick. Ofcourse, we should make it clear to him that he is not expected to take us to the playoffs or do anything spectacular, just show us he can play.

Plan for the defense:

on the defensive side of the ball, I think we should live the rest of the season vicariously through Ed Reed. if we can get him five or six more picks, maybe with a couple of TD returns, then he should get defensive player of the year.

We might as well finish the season with some silverware.

I dont agree completely, but I'll go half with yah.

I think we need to start Boller, the only thing he needed help with was desicion making. He can throw the ball, he can run, he can take a hit.

I think Troy needs to back up Boller and take a few snaps here and there just to get his feet wet. Then if Boller gets the job done over the next year or two then we keep him as our starter, if he falls off again then it will have given Troy a couple years of getting into some action and learning the system so that he can then get in the mix.
