After a full day and a sleepless night of though, I've come to the conclusion that the better football team did not win that game on sunday. We will see them again in january in OUR house.

i also agree

im a homer but im also a realist...when we lose a game to a better team ill admit it...i have no issue doing that...but in this case i feel we were the better team and shouldve won but didnt..

we lost a posession due to the first fumble...
we lost easy points due to the miscommunication interception at the end of the half
we lost points by clayton dropping the ball

but more importantly

we lost points by not coming off the field when we were suppose to thanks to those horrid calls..

and even after all of that we still were about 10 yards from a victory

lets not complain but get ready for a tough Bengals team..

you could say this every week for your team or the next. Its the defenses' job to cause confusion, turnovers and make plays that sets up their offense for scores. I saw two team evenly matched but the winner was able to make more plays and cause turnovers when needed. They were better on Sunday but next time it's a different day.

yeah i read tom brady said we deserved the penalties.flacco took harder hits and there were no penalties.there were some bs calls as in any game.i mean they called pass interference when we batted a pass down.its part of the games refs.and i used to respect brady.hes still a great qb.but hes a rich cry baby.hes lucky to have such a great wife but yeah.hes became a whiner.but i applaud ray lewis.he was right that was robbery.not taking anything away from the pats.i even read harbaugh's lips telling a ref it was a bs call.but we will get those but we will take it out on the bungals.lol

bottomline is

the pats had 1 major mistake(the brady fumble for TD)

the ravens had about 4 or 5 major mistakes(fumble, interception, couldnt get 3rd and 4th 1,dropped passes on that last drive)

and still were 10 yards away from a W

not many teams

any other team makes those mistakes against the Pats and its 42-14...

because of this i feel we are the better team..

No one is going to get near Princess brady now. No one wants an almost guarnteed 15 yard penalty.

And that's the sad part about all this. We made enough mistakes to not totally blame the refs, but in the future, defenses will be afraid to get near Brady and cost their team 15 yards. Brady will know this and have extra time to find his receivers - because if he can't find them and a defender gets even close to him, he'll cry for a flag - and get it. They have given Brady free rein to take as much time as he needs and he knows it. And that's the sad part.

The sad part to me is how other QBs around the league are getting clobbered and the refs are turning a blind eye towards a lot of the hits. Am I the only one that really doesn't care whether Brady got hurt last year? Injuries are a part of the game, regardless of the position you play. Why should a player get flagged for simply brushing by his leg? The QB-protecting rules aren't ever going to be lifted but if they're there, the refs should enforce them consistently, no matter who the QB is. I don't know if anyone saw Trent Dilfer's segment on ESPN last night where he showed Flacco, David Garrard and JaMarcus Russell taking illegal shots and not getting the calls. I can guarantee if a DE pile-drives Brady the way Garrard got was, every ref on the field would throw a flag. It's complete b.s.

Just got this from Aaron Wilson's (ravensinsider) twitter account: @RavensInsider NFL executive Ray Anderson has determined that the Ravens' comments about officials don't warrant fines, per NFL spokesman Greg Aiello

So are many of their tackles and sacks... I'm surprised they got away with the comments.

just heard it on masn and saw it on facebook 10mins ago.
good stuff! once trent dilfer put together the video package last nite....it would be unfair to fine ray lewis and ed reed.

it would be bad PR for the NFL if they did that when they had soooo many media folk in agreement and Brady himself saying they were cheap after the fact and snickering cuz he figured he can "flop" now in days like it's basketball.
