on espn trent dilfer showed the ticky-tat on brady.

then he showed and talked about the no calls on flacco...pats taking a full two steps after flacco released the ball and the refs missing it which is the original/most basic roughing the passer call....
then he showed jamarcus russell not getting calls.

he supported the certain QB theory....and said it's about consistency. But he also said in the 60's-80's people took pride in the QB standing in the pocket to take the hit...and this is destroying the game.

The commisoner better not fine ray lewis! he had to bring it to the general publics attention so it wasn't swept under the rug!

and on MASN today john harbaugh said he has a video package ready for the NFL.

"Shady Brady...and Bill Belicheat"

Anyways, I did like how Ray said that isn't a personal foul if you're smiling afterwards. And of course, Brady was gloating after that acting job.

Suggs may get a letter also. Said something like the league protects some quaterbacks. Harbs will for his legit rant on the sidelines.

Not normally a big fan of Ditka, but thanks to the monday night countdown crew our game vs the patsies made it into the "c'mon man" segment twice. Of course the first one was from keyshawn where his "homeboys from baltimore," more specifically mark clayton, couldnt hold onto the ball.

But then Ditka's turn came and they showed the replay of Sugg's penalty, and Brady the **** begging for a penalty!

I just mentioned this in another thread, man I'm glad to see people in the media stick up for this, I watched 1st and 10 this morning and I wanted to punch Skip Bayless for him trying to say Suggs going at Brady's knee was intentional.

I'm glad for John to put together a video package for the league to look at, I hope the commish sees things differently but I have a feeling it won't matter much since we were playing the nfl's golden boy.

Basically, the whole Sports Nation is Supporting us except Steve Young. He sorta understood our complaint, But stood up for his fellow QB

Great to know certain players only need to ask for a flag and will receive. I guess from the officiating to Tom Brady, "Have a early Merry Christmas!"

Ditka knows what he's talking about though. He's spent so much time in the NFL, both as a player and a coach, that he knows the game better then anybody. Keyshawn? Hardly. Cris Carter? Hardly. That's why I appreciate it more than Ditka predicts a Baltimore Superbowl then Johnson or Carter.

No one is going to get near Princess brady now. No one wants an almost guarnteed 15 yard penalty.

I'm merging all topics about the media vindicating our opinion of the Brady Rule and Ray Lewis' comments here. Lots of the same comments are being made, and I feel that most of us agree that it's great to see the media taking our side on the inconsistent calls.

Brady rules remind me of the old jordan rules... Lets not get worked up too much guys. Two years ago we had nothing to lose now we are 3-1 and still the best in the nfl. Everyone sees what type of team they are if gaither stays in, less flags, clayton, bad first down spots and we still shouldve one its ok wait till the playoffs

C'mon Man
Clayton's was also a c'mon man.

But this is a horrible call. They should definitely change the rule. No doubt. And if they dont, it proves that the NFL loves Tom Brady too much.

You have to admit, though, Tom Brady is their cash cow. Then again, I don't hear Peyton Manning complaining too much when he takes a late hit or two...

Now, Peyton Manning, there's a guy I can respect. Even though a lot of people here hate him for the uniform he's wearing... -_-

yeah I'll back that... been kind of slacking on the forums here.. but, I was watching the game with a patriots fan.... while in a sports bar.. even he got up and called Tom Brady a ******.... and another one of our friends was complaining about the rodney harrison comment... and basically agreed with harrison

so defenses put pressure on tom brady... and the cheatriots put pressure on the refs..... no wonder they have the most "winniest" coach.... he can take his whinniest QB with him

Yeah, I watched the Dilfer ESPN segment and the No Call hits were all rougher then the Called plays by far. Flacco's hit was taken while the D Tackle had a full two steps after the release and its no called. If you can't tuch Brady, but other QB's can be hit? And the worse part is that with Ty Warrens shot at Flacco could have put Gaither in a wheel Chair. If your going to protect QB's then fine but I think that Tom Brady should be held to the same standard as a bum like Kyle Boller. You may as well just have 11 guys in coverage because If you bruise Brady's ovaries you git hell to pay

After a full day and a sleepless night of though, I've come to the conclusion that the better football team did not win that game on sunday. We will see them again in january in OUR house.

I agree with alot of post here but we have to move on to another week. The game is over nothing will be done and the outcome will not change so harping on this does nothing but make us and the ravens look like sore loosers i for one will us this and learn from it . We should be more positive now and get behind our guys and look to next week what's done is done!!! Go Ravens!!!!

The rules are the rules, but when the rules are used to sway an opponents advantage or to bail an opponent out then we have a problem.

I hope we see them in the playoffs, and I REALLY hope Lewis grabs Brady and throws him in to the ground.
