I couldn't agree more, they need to know they can't just officiate poorly and hide behind protocol. It's utter trash!

I could've sworn before the season (or last season) that Ron Winter (the referee for this game) was planning on retiring soon anyway. I think this game gives him more reason to seriously consider it.

The Whole team is at fault ! Our D looks Blah! Is it me or does it seem our D is missing some SWAGGER?? Flacco also had some "what are you thinking" moments. And whats the point of having fast CB's if there too short to cover tall WR's. They need to spend more time doing tackle drills, to many missed tackles!!!

The average height of a cornerback is 5'10", so height isn't the issue, it's coverage scheme or (in the case of the Chargers game) the other team just being freakishly talented at QB. If you'll notice, Randy Moss was covered almost all game today save for a couple of crucial catches; unfortunately, no one ever remembers the rest of the game, they only remember the big plays. Otherwise, the corners did fine. There was more issue with the safeties, as there was plenty of miscommunication on Landry, Reed, and Zbikowski's parts when they were in the game. Landry also needs to get over his hesitation issues, as it was his hesitation that allowed a HUGE catch on 3rd down that should've been a stop; I know the guy's coming off a neck injury, but he needs to trust his instinct.

On another note (and speaking to the comments that Ray Lewis made, discussed earlier), if Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison both agree, there's something to Ray's comments. That's especially true with Dungy, whose words hold massive weight in the NFL. It's a bit ridiculous when Tom Brady is calling for a flag and is all too pleased to get one from the official, to where he's doing a Joba Chamberlain-like fist pump immediately afterwards like he just made a play.

Yeah, I was pleased to see Dungy and Harrison agree. It's all over various networks and these different stations all seem to agree we were hard done by on several decisions... it's good to know we aren't being completely biased!
