Bright Spots? And Not So Bright Spots....

14 posts in this topic

Now, let's not turn this into a Clayton bash fest. Let's see what was bright and what wasn't.

Joe Flacco - Continued to show why he's one of the best QB's in the NFl. That last drive he had was huge and had a pretty good game minus that confusion with Clayton in the beginning. Great game by Joe.

Ray Rice - Where do I begin with him? Ran great, caught great out of the back field, and was explosive. So much positive from him.

Lardarius Webb - Well, the lone kick return he had he looked great on. He ran straight ahead full speed and gave us great field position. He should start returning more.

O-Line - Kept Joe on his feet for the most part, opened up nice holes for Rice to gain a ton of yards.

Not So Bright[/b][/color]

Mark Clayton - Obvious reasons.

Secondary - Constantly burned by Brady all game except for that last drive. Terrible performance overall by the group. You can say the same for the whole defense.

Chris Carr - Was terrible returning the ball and had a big 3rd down penalty that led to points. You know you've done bad when your best move was calling for a fair catch.

You're turn. Analyze or post your own!

D stepped up when it was necessary fumble-6 put us back in the game.

first time in 600+ plays it happened to the Pats, twice in a row.

Joe had a weird period in the game in like the 2nd quarter where he just went braindead.
he was hitting himself in the head after that pick at end of the half and all.

still though this guy is amazing. i have as much confidence that he will get us points as i use to be with our D stopping the other team from scoring.
nice to be able to cheer for the offense coming on the field

The pick was a miss-communication he and mason thought Mason'd be going opposite directions. Unfortunately it turned out a cb was where Joe thought Mason would be.

Our Defensive secondary has just been playing absolutely poorly to be nice about it. I think Mattison is too soft of a Defensive Coordinator and no where near as aggressive as Rex Ryan was. I think that has a lot to do with our Secondary getting picked on all game. Look, each team that we play from here on out are going to know that we will annihilate their run game but they can pass on us all day long. So prepare yourselves to hear and be frustrated about this the rest of the season. The reason I say this is because after 4 weeks including the preseason games, whatever they have tried to do to correct this secondary problem has not helped a thing.

BA doesn't bother me (he will be missed though) Gaither does.

I think we have the depth with a little more practice at shifted positions, but I'd rather be playing two premier tackles.

Looks like special teams just got that much worse.

Rex and his jets got off lucky they didn't get burned by the blitzfest.

The one Moss TD came precisely because they were in full blitz.
