Tomorrows The Big Day Any Scoring Predictions Anyone?

53 posts in this topic

I have been been excited all week and bragging about the possibilities of tomorrow. I just can't wait for us to come up with the big win. This will definitely add another level of respect for us in the NFL. I smell a superbowl everyone. The streets of Baltimore will definitely be quiet for 4 15min. quarters this Sunday.

I have already made this prediction on another post but here goes again: Ravens 34 Pats 17
Ravens Offense: 2 touchdowns 2 fieldgoals
Ravens Defense: 1st touchdown of the year
Ravens Special Teams: Finally gets into the act

Pats Offense: Manages to score 1 touchdown Brady to Moss
2 field goals due to the fact no one scores on our redzone defense! :225:

That would make the score 13-34..... and if the score a field goal, then they did score on our red zone defense.

My bad Pats 3 field goals How does scoring field goals mean they scored on our Redzone D?

If we have a game of pressure and interceptions, then theres no guessing whether we win or not. If we score 24 or more, it's no doubt that we win. Our D will do their part. Ravens Win 24-14

31-17 Ravens. Brady gets pulled cuz Suggs hits him so hard that he knocks the butt off his chin.

Hmmm, I'm going to say 28-14 Ravens. If NE plays like they have lately, their offense and defense is going to struggle against the Ravens.

A Brady sans-butt chin would be helping him more than hurting him.

38-0 Ravens.... Seriously... I think this is the game the defense get's it's act together. Willis Gets his first 200 Yard game and 2 TD's Flacco only gets two TD and Ed Reed Scores a TD off a Fumble or INT. I don't know Why But I feel a blowout in our Favor. I think Carr gets us in the Redzone. I think Brady gets Rattled, and throws 5 INT's.

I feel a dominate performance coming from the Ravens as well. I don't think it will be 38-0, but I do think we will dominate them.

My reason for this is the line play on both sides of the ball.

The Pats oline struggle against pressure heavy defensives and contrary to what every thinks, the Ravens still bring plenty pressure. People think we should look at the Jets tape from a few weeks ago, but I think we should look at the tape from '07. Philly, Our defense and the Giants all gave the Pats oline problems. The Ravens need to find a way to get after that oline, cut the head off a snake and the body will die. It all starts up front.

On the other side of the ball, I don't think that Dline is physical enough to withstand the pounding that the Ravens oline will give them.

I think the Ravens will jump on the Pats early much like we did the Browns. The Ravens have been good at scoring in their first couple of possessions to start the game and that will continue.

I see the Ravens getting a big Kick return to start the game and the offense driving to score and go up 7-0. The defense comes out strong with either a 3 and out or a turnover and the offense puts another in the endzone to go up 14-0.

That would be a perfect start for the Ravens and from that point we don't look back. The secondary puts all the questions to rest and has a dominate performance. I look for at least 2 picks.

I agree with what you said, just hope you're right. I mean look at the dolphins on monday night, they had the ball for 45+ minutes, and they still lost. Two key players who will be bringing their best IMO will be McGahee and Kelly Washington, both know the weaknesses of that NE defense and can exploit them.

If the offense can get a two score lead, then I expect the Patriots to be something like this.. :bricks:

And their fans.. :bag: :D
