I'm starting to think that we're not going to win, and in dramatic last-minute fashion. Not melt-down fashion like 2007, but heartbreaking field goal to end the game fashion.

Talk me down, guys.

John Harbaugh said that the Patriots have never faced this Ravens team. And he's right. Save for the preseason, these two teams haven't squared off since the culture change that Harbaugh has brought to the entire organization. You're right in that a meltdown probably won't happen -- but a loss isn't guaranteed, neither.

The Patriots may be undefeated against the Ravens in their shared history, but there's a first time for everything.

First off, we have Joe Flacco. Remember towards the end of that game? When we were in Pats territory? We could have put the game away but Boller tossed one up deep where there were no Ravens near the ball and it was intercepted by the Patriots. That turned the game around.

Joe Flacco won't make that bonehead mistake, you can quote me on that.

I'm sure we'll do fine today... it's just the what-ifs before any non-Browns game! LOL

Our team needs to live by their play 60 minutes of football even if we build a big lead because we don't want the Pats sneaking back in on us.

and we need to make sure that no assistant coaches call a critical timeout on a 4 and 1 :D

Off-topic, but I think the production crew that makes these video packages for CBS is top-notch. They know how to effectively use music of all genres (especially hip-hop), and they do a great job of putting these things together with only a week (or less) of lead time. Almost makes me wanna get into that multimedia field...

I think our defense would be arrested for murder if that happens again.

It's just me second guessing myself... I think we're leaving Foxborough 4-0, but I've got that sinking feeling before kickoff.

I'll feel better after the first snap. :)

I think the biggest difference in this game is the offense.

In years past in games like this we would just hope the offense wouldn't mess things up. The Defense would play great early, but eventually get tried and fall off because the offense would go 3 and out all day.

However now the offense is capable of moving the ball and scoring. So if our defense comes out and plays the way they usually play in big games and the offense does it part, I see a big day for Ravens fan.

Also I got a feeling about this games a few hours and it kinda made me smile. With the Patriots all of a sudden getting a clean bill of heatlh, am I the only one that get the feeling that they are the ones under the pressure to perform up to the level of us?

In years past it was the Ravens that needed everything to go right, and needed to force injured players back into a big game. Remember in 07 how everyone on defense got healthy for the game vs the Pats? It feels like they are doing the same.

The media might not know if we are for real or not, but teams around the NFL are definately taking notice.

I can't stand the Fox production. The gameday show is brutal and the gameday presentation is really, really bad.

I'm glad that CBS got the AFC.

Heh, on Sunday Countdown, 3 picked Pats (Including Keyshawn and Carter, surprise, surprise), 2 picked Baltimore. It's funny though, first he tells Mason he's doing a good job (then gets picked on first trying to extend an olive branch), then he choose Derrick as a Gamebreaker against the Pats.

No offense to you guys since you're all my kinda people and all, but I'm disappointed that my friends flaked out on me and now I'm stuck watching this game at home in my tiny little bedroom instead of at a bar. :(

I would've still gone and all, but it's just awkward being there by yourself, especially if you end up being the only Ravens fan. -_-

Yeah, I was pumped to hear them using "Run This Town" by Jay-Z in their promos. They really do a great job.

I'm sick to my stomach this is a big game for us we have to prove we can beat these teams to prove how good we are.We beat San Diego,so now we have to show we can stop another good QB. I think we can win this game just gotta show up like we have all year.Hold the pats to field goals like we did the Chargers. <---that'll be me most of game i fell lol
i am extremely nervouos bout this game like i said i was so wound up at the end of the Charger game I had to go the the ER come to find out I suffered a mild heart attack,I hope this game doesn't kill me
