That’s how John Harbaugh describes this week’s game at the New England Patriots. In fact, those are similar words that he used to alert his team of last Sunday’s contest against the Browns: “Two down and one to go.” Bill Belichick will take a similar approach with his Patriots this week. You could see him saying: “It’s the next game on the schedule. We’ll show up.” Fans and media will view this Sunday’s (Oct. 4) battle between Baltimore and New England at Gillette Stadium (1 p.m.) as more than just another game on each team’s schedule.

I'm sick to my stomach this is a big game for us we have to prove we can beat these teams to prove how good we are.We beat San Diego,so now we have to show we can stop another good QB. I think we can win this game just gotta show up like we have all year.Hold the pats to field goals like we did the Chargers. :sofa: <---that'll be me most of game i fell lol
i am extremely nervouos bout this game like i said i was so wound up at the end of the Charger game I had to go the the ER come to find out I suffered a mild heart attack,I hope this game doesn't kill me :bitenails:

Still debating whether I wanna go to a bar with some of my friends to catch the game...one of them's a Pats fan, and these things rarely end well for me.

I remember going to a bar to see the Ravens-Colts game last year, and the waiter turned out to be a Colts fan after I paid the bill 'cause we sat around for awhile and I saw him do little enthusiastic fist-pumps off to the side whenever the Colts kept making big plays after the half. -_-

Poor weather in this game would favor the strong armed Flacco and the Ravens offense.
As for the matchup it's self, well this could be one of those early season games that mean so much more at the end of the season. This could be a #1 seed tie breaker type game. The difference between the Ravens going to snowy NE for a January playoff game or them coming to Baltimore.

This is the type of game that could put the whole AFC on notice that its a new bully on the block.

This is the type of game that jump starts a Dynasty, they just don't lose at home and to beat them at home would be huge.

Here is something that is interesing and I figured I'd share with everyone. It was in their second year together that got the Brady/Billichek dynasty started, well Flacco and Harbs are in their second year together, we could see a passing of the torch.

This is a big game, but really its just another game. The Ravens can't go into this game in awe of the Pats, and I don't think they are.

The Ravens have played great football so far this year, but I have a feeling this will be the best game the Ravens have played so far.

We didn't get much credit for dominating the Browns, but nobody will be able to look past us Dominating the NE Patriots

This one I've long anticipated ever since the 4th quarter time out debacle. I know, it's something one should just get over, but if we're all honest, I believe that's easier said than done. Heck, I'm still not "over" the Jets beating our then Colts in SB3! LOL

But this should be a great game.

On a side note, I'm pulling for the Chargers for a little insurance, just in case....the just in case you hope you never need.

This should be a heck of a football game. I cannot get over the 07 loss and maybe never will. That was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. I love my Ravens for what they did that night. But i still feel very sad and angry about what went down at the end. It was by far the most heartbreaking loss I've ever witnessed. Maybe a win tomorrow will ease the pain.

ughhhh again I will miss this game because of SAT prep.. why can't this game be at 4??? Oh well, at least I won't have a nervous breakdown watching the game, which would probably be the case if I were to actually watch the whole thing.

GO RAVENS!

28-20 Baltimore. Write it down. I saw this prediction on the Baltimore Sun message boards, and I got goosebumps when I read it. Cant wait for kickoff baby. I read that Foxboro is filed with ravens fans right now!!!! :18_1_301:
