Merged: Ravens Getting Too Much/Not Enough Love?

36 posts in this topic

The Ravens have been all the place. Everyone is talking about is and talking good.

Personally I don't care about the media coverage good or bad, because we finally have a coach that won't allow the players to allow it to effect their play.

Any one that lives in baltimore shouldn't worry media coverage too much, because the national guys either report on the things we already know, or they prove just how little they actually study the Ravens because they misrepersent us.

Like back in the draft when everyone was saying that Oher was drafted to take over for JO. Nobody really mentioned Gaither even though he only gave up 2 sacks all year.

You can even see it now. Warren sapp just said this week on Inside the NFL, that the Ravens defense won't be as good because Ray is a year older and we have to replace our ILB , safety and Dimeback from last year, but the people we are trying to replace them with aren't as good.

We everyone in Baltimore knows that's just not true. Both Landry and Carr are better then Leonhard and Ivy from last year and replacing Bart hasn't been so tough so far.

To be honest, you can learn more or stay updated on the Ravens more on this site then you could from ESPN or NFL Network.

If the Ravens come out and perform the way I think they will this week, the Ravens will have an overflowing hype machine out at the Castle because everyone will want to get some of the Ravens.

Bob Ryan was talking about how the Pats aren't ready for the Ravens right now. He also said the Ravens would play the Giants in the Super Bowl. I'm indifferent when it comes to the national media attention the Ravens get but it's always good to hear positive things about your team.

That sounds vaguely familiar.

I remember when all of the talking heads picked the Ravens to be one of the teams to not return to the playoffs, now they're all singing a different song.

^^^ yeah i know.

like getting to the AFC championship game with a rookie QB was a fluke?
like flacco wouldn't get better the next season?

haha! they were all witnesses to what has and will eventually unfold.

people can hate the Rvens all to their hearts desire...just so long as they fear us!
