I very rarely get really irritated at a Cleveland loss but man... today really sucked. I'm over it now but for a good hour afterwards I just really could not believe it. I don't really get it but Cleveland just simply can NOT beat Pittsburgh. We could be winning 30-0 at halftime and we'll lose 33-30. It's sickening at times I swear.

With that being said and re-evaluating the game, Cleveland looked awful on offense in the 2nd half. Anderson's throws were way off target and I'm going to give the Steelers D credit... the 2nd half adjustments they made were good. Better than good.

I'm happy to a degree that we managed to at least keep it close and every week, Cleveland is showing me they are not the same old Browns. Here's hoping you all get your revenge on them when you have your rematch!

And yes, I am very much now looking forward to next week!

You guys weren't expected to do much this year, and you're doing it anyway. Hopefully the Browns can build from what they have right now, rather than take any more steps backwards. They're becoming a good team.

Oh I agree, 4 wins at most maybe? I really didn't expect more than 6-10 at the very best so believe me, I am proud of how they've done so far and there's still plenty of season left. With Cleveland man, they just rarely lose games like a normal team.. they gotta fool you and pretend like they're gonna win a lot and then blow it LOL.

But again they are playing well and hopefully next season, the defense can be addressed.

Well, at least you've been used to losing the past couple of seasons, so winning is a welcome change that you're bound to appreciate more.

Meanwhile, I've only been a fan since about 2003 (was never interested in football until seeing Ray Lewis play), and I've never known what it was like to have a winning season, save for 2006 (the only TRUE winning season I've known).

2003 doesn't count for me since my interest was still growing and I wasn't anywhere near hardcore yet. I still didn't understand the game completely, and I didn't invest much emotion in it, hence me not caring at the time.

2004 doesn't count just because it was a 9-7 season that was abysmal and narrowly missed a wildcard berth in the playoffs.

2005 was horrible, period. I was ashamed at times, but my loyalty was tested, and it paid off when 2006 rolled around.

And now, this year, is almost a repeat of 2005. Maybe worse. So...yea.

But, the Browns had been on a streak of losing seasons since 2003 up until now anyway, so I guess all's fair and what goes around has finally come around and we're, like, reversing emotions now. LOL

I'll count 2002 since we were 9-7 and made the playoffs. Plus that year had one of the best Browns victories I can recall in recent memory.. the imfamous "Tim Couch comeback" in Baltimore to win 14-13. Great game. However my revenge was put on me as I was in the stands when Jamal ran for 295 so all is fair in that regard LOL.

Even at 4-5 though still, most teams in the AFC are only at most 2 games up and there's a lot of season left. I think you may be the only optimistic fan left around these parts.

I'm not necessarily ALL optimistic, I'm just not short-sighted.

Though, I'll admit, yes, I'm more optimistic than most, if you consider how many posts I've made defending certain "unpopular" stances.

in this league though, you have to have a short memory after a game you just played because they have another opponent to get ready for, despite what they did the previous week that all means nothing when preparing for the next opponent
