This is just one more reason why PS3 > 360... right?
id agree with you mainly because I buy more ps3 games but 360 does have some great exclusives

just wondering how often do you guys leave your xbox running?the one that have gotten the three rings? Also how many go online as opposed that don't?Just my own personal poll i always ask people who have dead 360's
No online...yet but in its prime (when I was jobless) it would be on anywhere from 3 to 9 hours straight.

Most of the games I play are online.. however I do play both.... When I do play it I'm on for a few hours (mostly at night) but other than that I don't leave it "running" unless you count it charging the controller while it's off as running

I have the Xbox 360 Elite..... which my friend thinks is more susceptible to the RROD, which I really don't believe because I thought the only difference was what it had come with

One of my best friends just got the RROD on his newly-purchased 360. Didn't even have it for three whole months. That means everyone I know has gotten the RROD thus far.

In all fairness the PS3 has had it's similar issue with the "Disc Read Error" of death which affects many PS3 users including myself. Cost $150 to get it repaired by Sony.

The error rate isn't as high as the RROD but it is significant.

I'm still a PS3 fan all the way though.

Wait, they don't fix it for free? That's messed up.

Only if you are within the 1 year Warranty. Anything after that is $150. Ofcourse like all products, the defects usually come right after the Warranty expires.

I just bought Madden 2010 when I got the PS3 Disc Read Error. Gave me more reasons to buy the PS3 Slim while I waited for Sony to ship my original back.

Now I have two PS3s

Face it computer, T.V.'s, camera, camcorders, DVD players, video game systems or any other electronic device you can name all have some type of issues. That is why you should always buy the insurance plan so if you have any issues you can get it replaced.

question when you set your xbox up do you follow the 3 golden rules, Set it Flat , Set it on a Hard Surface, and set it with Maximum air flow (never in an enclosed area such as a cabnit or enternainment center with side and rear walls)

if you notice you set it on carpet or anything like that for shame that = RROD

I have mine set flat on a table, with appx 2-3 feet of open air between it and the wall.... I don't set it on its side for the fact that I would like to avoid the whole laser burns/xbox falling off of the table and breaking

I told Microsoft to shove their 360s after I got mine back from the red ring of death for the 2nd time, only to find that the HD DVD Drive had gone. It really is rediculous that they let something with such an appauling fail rate to hit the market.

Atleast I now have a PS3 which is more reliable, has an in-built blu-ray player and has a better on-line experience for nothing, as opposed to Microsoft's diabolical prices for a horrendous Xbox online service.

Microsoft should just stick to Computers and Laptops, games consoles really ARENT their thing.
