No problem, it's really childish and rude to neg you just because you're a Pitt fan and this is a Ravens forum.
Couldn't agree more. There are those who just can't get passed that though.

OT: I posted a question in the DT for you.

Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans: Houston
Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns: Cincinnati
Seattle Seahawks at Indianapolis Colts: Indianapolis
New York Giants at Kansas City Chiefs: New York
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins: Miami -
New York Jets at New Orleans Saints: New Orleans - great game #2
St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers: San Francisco
Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos: Dallas - I'm vacillating...
San Diego Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers: Pittsburgh
Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings: Minnesota

Many tough calls this week...
I actually thought this week was pretty easy....but then again, I thought that last week too and got 4 checkmarks in the "L" column".
The TB vs. Washington (a.k.a.- "The Toilet Bowl") is the one that worries me the most.

I agree. This week did seem a lot easier to pick then the prior two.

Yeah, I generally try to offset neg points that are given just because someone is a fan of another team or voices an unpopular opinion - even when voiced calmly and with explanation.

Anyway, my picks...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Redskins: Washington Redskins
Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots: Baltimore Ravens
Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears: Chicago Bears
Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars: Tennessee Titans
Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans: Houston Texans
Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns: Cincinnati Bengals
Seattle Seahawks at Indianapolis Colts: Indianapolis Colts
New York Giants at Kansas City Chiefs: New York Giants
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins: Buffalo Bills
New York Jets at New Orleans Saints: New Orleans Saints
St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers: San Francisco 49ers
Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos: Dallas Cowboys
San Diego Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers: Pittsburgh Steelers
Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings: Minnesota Vikings

I certainly don't expect the Ravens/Patriots game to be easy and it could go either way, but I've decided that I'm going to vote the Ravens ticket all the way through the season.

As for the Steelers, I fully expect them to turn it around and start winning games. Plus, like PuRock said, as long as I keep picking them and they lose, it's a win either way! [either I get the point here or the Ravens build their lead against them before they get it together, which they certainly WILL do before the Ravens/Steelers games.]

A few of you are actually picking the Steelers this weekend. I'm a little surprised. Anyone care to share their reasons why?
Amazing how odd this question would have sounded 3 weeks ago.

I picked them because as much as I dislike the Steelers, I hate the Chargers even more. The Steelers have that hardcore jackboot thug-4-life James Harrison on their team, but they do have some redeeming characters at least.

The Chargers, from top to bottom, are the personification of shows like The O.C and Laguna Beach. I have a name for Phillip Rivers....I call him King D...you can figure out what the D stands for.

Sorry warden, but no I didn't pick the Steelers because I think they're the better team right now.

Some might want to shoot me for this, but I changed my pick from the Chargers to the Steelers after noticing that Troy is off the injury list, at least according to NFL.com.

Nothing's wrong with picking the Steelers. It's a competitive league we got going on here. It's when you pick against the Ravens. Now that's a different story.

Dont be afraid to switch that back either. I heard Jason la canfora report last night that Troy is getting around a little better (actually running) but dont expect to see him suit up! He is usually pretty accurate with injury reports. :225:

I heard that he isn't going to play, but Willie Parker is going to be out.

No one seems to have the straight story. I've heard yes and no for both.
I hope Troy sits out (unless he is w/o question at 100%). Parker can have spot duty as I think Mendy is ready to make a contribution. Ofeensively, I think we're alright. But, judging by the latest defensive performance and the match-up issues that the Chargers bring....I'm mildly concerned.

Nothing to be sorry for at all. It's just to the point where I can't keep adding people and nullifying more weeks, or it all becomes slightly pointless.

But the bottom line is we have something to do, and we are having fun while doing it.

Are you keeping track of weekly scores as well as overall? If you want I'd be willing to track the weeklys. I'm an Excel Genius. Can track when people joined. Weekly records. etc etc. So at the end it'll make it easy to determine what we are doing. Just trying to do my part to help, if need be.

Sorry guys!! I just saw the 1st page & realized this wasn't for me to join!! Go Ravens!!! Again, sorry!!

The more the merrier. You'll be regulated to the practice squad until something is figured out.

(OT: Did you enjoy your message board visit the other week, that now you want to be a regular Bolts fan here?)

I'm keeping track of weeklys to a point. Basically, when I get online on sunday, I go through the picks, copy and paste them into a word file (I have a file for everyone), tally the picks, and then at the end of the monday night game, I add the record for that week's picks to each person's file.
