Week one was nullifed, since we didn't start until week 2, everyone was essentially 0-0. I stated before, any picks that were not made would be counted as losses. Happened before, I can't remember who, but they picked "who cares" in one of the match-ups. Since no team was picked, it was counted as a loss.

The good news is that since we had 5 people join late, at the end of the season, everyone's worst week is nullifed. So therefore, your 0-16 week will be erased.

On paper, there really isn't much reason to.

<insert lame "that's why the games are played on the field" comment here>

But I picked them because I know they're going to turn it around sooner rather than later. SD is very beatable, and even without Hairball I think this is a good matchup for the Steelers.

I'm not 100% on the SD/PIT game. But while San Diego is beatable, Pittsburgh has been playing sluggish and sloppy football thus far. With San Diego, Rivers has been playing very well, and Sproles can always has the potential to break out a big play for a little guy. I'm not going to say "lolz Putzburgh lost to teh bungles, so they gunna lose to everyone", because I just believe Pittsburgh is off to a slow start. But San Diego has more big play potential than Pittsburgh at this point.

There's mild speculation about Troy playing Sunday. It's a stretch but he hasn't yet been ruled out; he's been running and says his knee feels good.

I have mixed feelings about it though....not the least of which is concern.

I honestly don't think Troy not playing is the majority of the problem. Granted, it's a big hit, but there's just something off about how Pittsburgh is playing this far.

Usually when I pick a team, they lose. That's my strategy. Doing my part to help the Ravens in the AFC North. It goes unappreciated.

All kidding aside. San Diego on the road, east coast. I don't trust them. If Steelers were playing in San Diego. I'd be all over San Diego.

(FYI - you should personally thank me for always giving you +1 to negate whoever the a-hole is that keeps giving you a -1 for no other reason than you being a Steelers fan).
